The Hillary Clinton Whitehouse

Today Hillary Clinton Officially took office swearing on a copy of Roe v Wade to uphold the office of the President of the United States, at her side Vice-President Bill Clinton.

Her official cabinet list contains the names of.

Secretary of State: Barbara Streisand

Secretary of Defense: Micheal Moore

Secretary of the Treasury: John Kerry

This is what we have to look forward to if we on the right do not elect another Republican President.

A bunch of Sellout America Liberals.

Why is everyone always busting on Hillary Clinton's whorehouse!  I mean, since Bill has such a voracious sex appetite, you would think that they would let her have one to cut down on his night outs and the expense!

What?  What is that you say dear?  Whitehouse?  It says Whitehouse? Oh, so it does.

Never mind.

Why, thanks, Doc. Now my boss is wondering what I suddenly started laughing at.

Or are you really going senile? (Old folks tend to do that, ya know. I wouldn't know. Still on the sunny side of 32, much less 40).

Oh, yeah. Insert on the end of that ... Daggum edit link doesn't work. Keep getting ASP server errors.

As I recall, it was Monica that had the appetite.

umm, are none of you aware that, even in a joking world, the Next President's term is set to begin January 2009, NOT 2008?

Yeepers, people! lol

I don't buy it. I don't think she's electable. For every smelly hippie that votes for her, five apathetic conservatives will be motivated to vote who usually don't. I don't see her dragging out conservative Democrats, and she'd have to, in droves.

My prediction is that if Hillary runs, it will be the first election in a long time to break the 70% turnout mark, maybe higher. She is loved by some, and hated by many. If Democrats who lean right weren't persuaded to vote for her, she'd not have a chance.

I think you'll see the opposite. I think you'll see a more moderate Democrat next time. I think it will be a lot like the Bush Sr vs. Bill Clinton election. They'll pick someone with a 'down home' attitude, easy going, and no big agenda that seems outside the system. Granted, once they are in we'll see just how liberal they really are, much to our dismay.

Look for a democratic governor next time. If you want to be REALLY paranoid, imagine what would happen in McCain jumped ship... and anyone who wants to seem outraged at the thought isn't going to get much play from me. IMHO, McCain constantly proves he isn't above such a thing.

any ideas on who from the left fits that bill that is also a serious candidate?

Look for mc cain or guilliani to run away for the right.

I personally will vote for the MODERATE from either party.

Bill Richardson is someone you hear whispered about, and he is certainly a possibility. I think another name you'll be hearing someday is Jim Doyle.

I have a half written blog on who I think might get the nod in 2008. They have options, there's no doubting it. I think we have a lot more chance of being blindsided by an ultra-Liberal in moderate's clothing than Democrats have to worry about the reverse.

Bill Richardson

Damn!  Beat me again!

But I do have to disagree with you Baker.  If the left was sane and rational, that is what they would do.  But read the Daily Kos or DU.org and you will see that the controllers of the democrat party are anything but sane and rational.

I don't think you give them enough credit, doc. I think they went with Kerry in the last election because they felt Bush was going to have a hard time. They know how hard it is to get an entrenched Senator into the white house.

Frankly, if you had asked me how the election would go for Bush, I wouldn't have said he would win by as much as he did. They thought they had a really unpopular president, and it was their chance to slip in a legislator who would normally be hard to elect.

Wasn't that the exact same mistake the Republicans made with Dole? They thought all their muckraking with Clinton during his first term was enough to make people overlook decades of political manuvering in Congress. It isn't. I think the decisions they've made so far have been based upon believing their own propaganda.

I don't think they'll make the same mistake again. I could be wrong, but I think the next time you see the Dems or Republicans nominate a Congressman, it will be when both sides do so. Otherwise, you are running with two strikes against you.
