ALL AVAILABLE FEDERAL HELP

ALL AVAILABLE FEDERAL HELP

Now the Bush Administration is saying federal troops were NOT sent early in the week because the governor of Louisiana didn't ask for them until Wednesday after the storm. However, the governor in her first conversation with President Bush on Monday asked for All Available Federal Help. Since when is the active military not part of the Federal Government? The governor did not specifically list all the types of Federal Help including the active military when speaking with the president? Any reasonable person, when asked for All Available Federal Help would include the military! If Bush had any question when he heard all available federal help from the governor of Louisiana should have asked, including the military? It is remarkable how no matter what Bush does wrong, it NEVER STOPS ON HIS DESK!

These wer NOT hanging chads. These were the 3,500 ballots that were double punche in Palm Beach County because of the ballot that confused the voters. They should have requested a new ballot when they dicovered they had voted for Buchanan. Had they done that, Gore would have received another 3,500 votes and would have won Florida by 1,835 votes! As I said, Bush won because of an error not because he won the majority of the votes cast in Florida. He also lost the popular vote by about 500,000 votes nationwide.

Wa-wa-wa! Coulda woulda shoulda! If they were to stupid to request another ballot that tells me their candidate must not have been to smart either if that's the kind of voters he attracts. In ANY case Bush won the election. He did not "steal" it. By your own words....they were double punched. And therefore inadmissible as valid votes!

Col, you lost. The recount included hanging "chads", mispunched ballots, and ballot with dimples in them. The same standard Gore was asking for. He still lost. The 3500 hundred ballots were not guaranteed for Gore. The people mispunched the ballots because they were stupid, not because of design.

Bush won Florida. There was no error.
