Charging money for skins is kind of weird considering that skins for non-Stardock applications and for other OS platforms are usually free.

I think the whole premium skin deal is a way to suck more dollars from the customers as if paying for the programs themselves wasn't enough.


JeseeJ, I would like know just what you (and the likes of you) would do if all skinners would stop sharing their work for free.
I guess you'll just have to spend a few hundred dollars on a couple of good graphic programs. Not to mention you're gonna have to learn to skin and then spend countless of hours creating your own skins.

Just be happy there are some of us willing to devote our time in creating this skins and sharing them with the likes of you.
If you dont want to spend any money to support those that "feed" your customizing hobby for free, DONT. But dont come here talking crap about how it sucks to spend a couple of bucks for a premium skin.

If he is correct then He should NEVER PURCHASE ANY THING from ANY STORE around the world .. Every person/firm in the world creat for Profit which encourage him/her/it to produce better goods and services.

The people who are creating stuff for us surely deserve more than any one else to get paid for their skills and hardwork ...
