Looks pretty, though....big red letters and all.   Now, before anyone gets it into his head to delete this.....just think twice.  IE6 Service Pack 2 Zone Alarm Pro, P4P800E deluxe 3gig P4 and 1gig of DDR3200 400FSB.  Issue turned up today [thursday, Oz time] and is sufficiently frequent to really be annoying when you're actually 'needing' to access the site.

No, it is still happening. I just got it 2 times trying to acces this thread. I already posted in detail of my problems today in Fairyys thread "How long is resonable?". I would give a link, but I am tired of trying to navigate the site right now. I can't even be sure I will get this to post. This Error is a new one. Hope they can get it nailed down. It has happened on many parts of the website today. Not just here.

Still using the same Browser, I do get this..
One thing that I notice is that many of the threads on the boards show "0" for a thread count but when you open them up....there are ALOT of threads...

when you say "threads" do you mean replies Xero? i'm sorry i am not spotting the problem.

hi CLWoods, can you please close your browser and re open it and do general browsing, your web browser could be caching the pages.  Just a thought!

It seems to be better now Flyin...
For clarification I call the Main topic a thread..and the replies..posts or replies..

The threads were showing "0" replies..even those that I knew had numerous replies..
It seems ok now, at least for me...

~I have been posting the errors in the other thread that I was told to give more info on ...others are posting there too. I didn't see Jafo's thread because I couldnt get here most of the am.. I sent that same message in email to Jafo asking him to forward it to the proper party..
The other thread is :
Link

Would be easier if we all stayed on same thread.

No...this was different to the original error in your first thread.

The apparent issue with posting all in one is that later errors posted may be overlooked....so it's worthwhile putting one per....

Never seen that one. WindowsXP SP2, 2.8GHz P4, Firefox 1.0.4, Norman Antivirus, Norman Firewall

I've seen thread where the comment count doesn't match at all. it claims to have a couple of comments, but none appear.

Ok, now it is back to how it was..messed up..::laughs::
Umm..I notice people are posting more than just what browser they are using..is that info necessary?..
Just in case it is..

Windows XP pro SP1
Intel 3gig Htt cpu, 512/800
1 gig PC 3200 dual channel DDR RAM
DSL "Always on" internet connection
Firefox 1.04
MS Anti-Spy
Nortons Security Suite '05
Zone Alarm
Window Blinds
CursorXP
Logon Studio

Some of the threads are showing more replies than are there, Some are showing 0, Some are showing lower numbers than are actually there..
If it's any help, a couple are accurate as far as the replies listed..

Hope this helps!

Hi Developer Flynn, I did that several times and also used 2 different browsers. IE6 and FF.The only way I was able to get to this thread at this time was to enter through the link on my watch alert email from WC. I couldn't get on to the site at all just opening it up. I have cleared my cookies and cache in both browsers at least 3 times each today. I also tried to browse not being logged in, because that has worked in the past, but it didn't today. I have 2 fairly detailed comments in the "How long is enough" thread, from 2 different days. This new error I have been getting that Jafo opened this thread about, is a new one to me. I Never got it before today. To save you from looking up the other thread I will tell you that I have FF1.04 and IE6, 2.6ghz with 1 gig of ram. My connection is 5mbps cable and use XP Home. I have the same progs on my comp as Zero listed in #18, except Norton. I also have Adaware plus. The same stuff I have had for years, except the MS Antispy. That has only been a few months. Hope this helps.

the system specs aren't as important as the type of browser.  To keep it as basic as possible, if the site was working for you some time or another since we rolled out the new site, but is having stability issues, that's all we need to know along with the symptoms or your troubles.

as an FYI, the traffic graphs and stats show that the site was having some major issues as you all know this morning, but has gain some stability after a change i made this morning.  as for the "0" threads thing, i still haven't seen it, probably just going to the site at the right nime

trust us when we say everyone that we are continuously working towards a better, faster, more stable, and more enjoyable wincustomize.com.  And as long as the site is up, we will continue to strive for just that.

So, on that note, please keep the informative feedback coming!! All us developers are watching this thread for any feedback

p.s. thanks clwoods for the detailed feedback.

Ok..LoL..Just so you can see it heres a pic...
Note that the 3 threads at the bottom that show 0 should show 1,1,2 starting from *Warprunner's* thread and ending on *Ama02's* that should be showing 2 replies..

Thats just one section..the problem exists in all sections..scattered through the entire boards..
Just trying to help out!
