I don't know if there's really anything good to say about the US unemployment rate. From what I understand, the criteria used for the numbers left out a good portion of people.
"The official unemployment rate for the third quarter of 2004—5.5 percent—significantly understates the severity of the jobs crisis. The rate ignores millions of Americans who either have lost their jobs and given up on finding new ones or who want to join the workforce but are too discouraged to try because the job situation remains so bleak. If these workers were include, the unemployment rate would be 7.5 percent."

The people in Afghanistan are not free as you imagine. The US-picked president controls Kabul, and likely not the entire city either. Beyond Kabul is lawlessness, warlords running their areas, and violence is still widespread. The women have no new rights unlike what the US press imagines. And the opium. Good Lord the opium. A record smashing bumber crop guarantees tons and tons of high grade heroin destined for America and Europe. Say what you like about the evil awful Taliban, the fact is that they had nearly wiped out all serious poppy farming throughout the country. Anyone who knows about current events will tell you that Afghanistan is not secure whatsoever, the US chosen leader Karzai controls Kabul and no where else. (Imagine trying to win the argument if it were New York City and a mayor only controlled A majority of the area of Brooklyn. Would anyone be convinced this leader is stable enough and control enough to be able to bring serious freedom and democracy to the entire city? No.

And let's not get into the (lack of) freedom in Iraq. What freedom is this? Did you miss the part where the US was saying they were going into Iraq because their supposed scary non-existent WMD, then changed it to how it's because Hussein was a tyrant who tortured his own people? Recall the Abu-Graib de-facto policy images? Remember the picture of that stiff corpse on ice, a victim of torture. A picture of some God-damned person who died from torture. Say it aloud. He died from the injuries he received while being brutally tortured. Moderateman's brother or father was tortured to death not long ago by the USA-invading occupying forces of Communist China who invaded the US because they were scared of the US's "death ray" machine which was pointed at a mirror hovering over Beijing. Anyways they tortured him to death. Does moderateman feel that's fair and something you can simply get over?
A nation that tortures people they say they are giving freedom to is insane and humanely unthinkable. How do you rationalize that fact? The US even uses the same prisons Hussein did. They've killed political prisoners like Hussein did. One thing Hussein never did though is shoot up entire families at military checkpoints on a weekly basis. Hussein never killed large amounts of people without knowing who they were, without knowing if they were a threat or not, without finding out who they were first and what their crime was first. Take the awful Fallujah video. The missile fired into that group of Fallujans. The God Damned guy says it's a group of unidentified people, should he take them out? He's told affirmative take them out and they did. The US military pilot was ORDERED to fire a missile into that unidentified group of people. That is a war crime. In fact, it's so blatantly murderous, it took away over 200 years of military honor. Don't you think they should find out who they're killing before they kill them? To see if they were an actual threat. Keep in mind they were not acting aggresive and had simply been walking down the street.
The Tsunami was interesting with the missing "S" waves and the 250 miles difference in the location of the actual epicentre. Indonesia's seismologists recorded the location. When the US media got onto it, they were told is was 250 miles away at a different location. The seismologists were like "uh em err uh" because they were flabergasted. But the odd thing was the heavily armed military force he sent to do the work. People sent food and water, US first sent the military. Fine and dandy and not too crazy, but still it's an odd act.
"For being true to those that work for you, and not throw them to the wolves at the first sign of opposition"
Richard Clarke smeared. Spy Wilson outed and smeared. What on earth do you mean? Can you give some examples?
Worrying about the troops? Without the proper armor? 250 billion and the families still but them armor? Man what are you talking about?
Traitorous Kerry. That shithead was in Vietnam which was a brutal war, a war Bush evaded. It's entirely possible that one or maybe more US pilots would still be alive or may have never gone into Hanoi Hilton if Bush were there with his supposed piloting skills to help out. But he was there, Bush wasn't. Kerry had dough. He went. Bush had dough. He evaded.
Election with Diebold machines run by the Bush friend who stated once, publicly, that their job was to give Bush a win. All this info is out there. How does it evade your eyes?
