Starve a LIBERAL instead of Terry Schiavo

Starve a LIBERAL instead of Terry Schiavo

Starve a Liberal for a better America

In the spirit of fair play I have decided that any LIBERAL that thinks it is ok to starve Terry Schiavo to death should have to take her place.

Since the liberals say they are in touch with the common man they should have no problem starving themselves to death for the betterment of man.

This simple plan will eliminate much of the “waste” of oxygen and precious resources.

So be a better person, Liberals, a few here, need to starve yourselves to death for a real progressive movement.

Starve a Liberal for a better America.com My newest sight.

So all you fathead liberals do america A FAVOR... starve slowly to death, then tell me how starving terry schiavo is better for her because she can't feel it. JERKS!

well then I would add that the 3 branches of goverment is what it is all about.

For the most part judges take the law as it is and states. There are examples of overturning that. Maybe some Jim Crow laws for example.

It does happen, but for the most part it is left alone.

This is a balance in action, I guess. A few days ago, whether extreme or not, the presidentail and congressional branches came together to try to change the law.

In Terri's case it is over, but that does not mean others have to be like it.

It is still a very big issue. What constitutes marriage? What makes someone dead? Him movig on at the speed it did might not make sense but it is not for us to judge that, the real question is can he truely be in her best interests if he hasn't shown any dedication to her for at least a limited amount of time. Did he just give up after one doctor said she is gone or did he try to see if she would come back?

I think to avoid situations like this, there has to be a level of consern on the partners side. You can't make him staybut since it is a marriage I would suspect a 5 to 6 month wait (if parent dispute claims of will) before he is with someone else.

Very touchy subject.

Reply By: CR Patriots BlogPosted: Saturday, March 26, 2005No, If any liberal wants to take Terri's place, We'll let them go right ahead. There is a lot of doubt wether she said that she wanted to die if ever on life support. She wasn't on life support anyway, there is also testimony that when an lawyer for her parents went to talk to her, she told terri to end this all you would have to say is "I want to live" and that Terri tried to say it. over 30 doctors have sworn afidavits stating that she was not in a PSV, and some nurses have sworn statements that she communicated with them. Judge Greer ignored this evidence and sided with Michael Schiavo.

yes greer did, he totally discounted anything anyone had to say that supported terry and took as gospell anything the shithead hubby presented.

I agree with the "for the most " part, but all to often these days we have LIBERAL activist judges making new "interpataion" of excisting laws as they make decisions about life and death, gay marriage and life in general.

They showed film of her tracking with a balloon again yesterday, watching it as it went left and right in front of her face. To me, that's nothing remotely like "brain dead".

That entire video is 40 minutes long. Why was only about that same 15 seconds chosen to air? Because it's the part that apparantely shows Terri watching the balloon? Maybe her mother made the balloon follow Terri's head.

Yeah, the priest who speaks for the Schindlers says that too. Terri didn't even get out 2 words of what was probably going to be a 4 word sentence. Why do some people think they know what the last word was going to be? MAYBE TERRI TRIED TO SAY "I WANT TO DIE." CONVOLUTED CONSERVATIVE CRACKPOTS!! There are a lot of things she could have been trying to say. Gee, I wonder why they would spin it and say that Terri intended for the last word to be "live"? Or maybe they're just too fucking stupid to think so clearly.

Try to deflect the point. The point is, "die" might have been what she wanted to say. For some reason, some people are ignoring that fact. You included yourself in that "we", didn't you? Then why are you here? Pontificating.

is not it funny how the "truth to liberals" comes from an assumption that thye somehow know what terry might or might not think?

Perhaps, but are you saying that death should be the default when it comes to life and death choices that somebody is unable to answer?

STARVE A LIBERAL FOR A BETTER AMERICA!!

Why can't you take responsibility your own shameful words instead of lashing out at others for your own hypocrisy & hate?

Face it, dude: Hate-filled, hypocritical & now proven cowardly too -- you're an embarassment to the blogosphere

Naw. I busted im-moder-rant red handed talking out of both sides of his mouth. And both of you know it.

Don't blame me if you & im-moder-rant have been twisted into such ideological pretzels that you can't even see that it's big govt GOP that is trampling individual freedom.

You've become that which you claim to oppose. Bon appetit!!

For what? For NOT endorsing the starvation of millions of our fellow Americans like you have? No chance.

Repeat: Two wrongs don't make a right. You yourself said starvation is cruel & wrong. And yet you endorse it for millions of our fellow Americans.

You can't have it both ways: Either it's wrong -or- you're a hypocrite. Not both.

So stand up & apologize like a man -or- lay there in your own filth. Your choice.

To me, this is a pretty difficult case.

EDIT - Sorry, when I originally posted, I didn't realize there was more than one page, and only read the first one before posting this. If I have restated previous information, I apologize. Some tidbits I have found while researching this - DISCLAIMER: It is late, I am not putting any sources up right now, not too hard to find this stuff, but I will try to add sources tomorrow afternoon.

A) In 1996 or so, Mr. Schiavo won 1 million dollars in a lawsuit against his wife's former doctor(s) in a malpractice suit.

B) $700,000 of that money was earmarked for the care of Mrs. Schiavo and legal dealings concerning her. This money was placed in a trust fund, and can only be doled out by permission of a judge. $40,000-50,000 of that money remains in the trust. The lawyers acting on Mr. Schaivo's request have received the bulk of the money paid out, but have not requested payment from the trust since 2002.

C) The remaining $300,000 was granted to Mr. Schaivo, for use at his discretion.

D) Neither Mr. Schiavo nor Terry's parents currently pay for her medical care - it is covered by the state of Florida for disability reasons.

To me, it seems odd that Michael Schiavo would stay in this fight for so long, unless he is either an extremely sick sadist who for some reason finds pleasure in the thought that his brain-damaged wife will die, or truly believes she would rather be dead than kept alive artificially. Personally, I choose to believe the latter. There is no monetary incentive, no familial incentive, no reward in sight at all for his actions. This leads me to believe that he truly believes he is acting in his wife's best wishes.

As far as his supposed infidelity or lack of care for Terry's well-being, I have little knowledge of the current relationship he maintains, and cannot speak as far as the amount of time he waited after collapse to start seeing another woman. I have never heard the two-month timeline before - if true, it obviously causes some questions, but to me, still is not enough to declare that Michael doesn't care. If anyone can show/tell where they heard that number, I would much appreciate it. As for me, I am undecided as of right now. If I were in this situation, I would rather be dead than kept alive in a vegetative state for fifteen years. However, what I would want has no bearing on the wishes of Terry Schiavo. I honestly believe Michael Schiavo believes he is acting in Terry's best interest. I could be wrong. However, I also believe her parents believe the same. No matter which way the case goes, somebody loses, and because there is no permanent testament left by Terry herself, it is impossible to know who is right, in her eyes. I do not believe in euthanization. To me, this is completely different. Euthanization is to kill or not to kill, this case is to artificially sustain or not to artificially sustain. I realize that to some there is no difference, but I would disagree. Like I said, I have no idea what is the best course of action. I am thankful I am not the judge who must make the hard decisions for these people.

Dude wtf? I'm not a liberal and i still believe that taking out the cord is better for her because she been stuck like this for 15 years if I heard correctly on the news and I dont know about your dumb ass but I know I wouldnt wanna be stuck in "vegetative" state for that long. I would want the plug pulled after the first month if they knew I'd be stuck like that. Also noone said that starving Schiavo was for the betterment of mankind its better for her and the family that constantly has to look over her. Besides that who the hell told you that the liberals only think this is ok are you so freaking blind that you think because you dont agree with it that it automatically makes it wrong and the "other sides" fault, because if you are this blind that you would actually think and believe this then you need to go out and educate yourself. Also as i said before I am a republican but I dont think that everything that may be bad is all because of "liberals" so if u see this then e-mail me at: [email protected] cuz i wanna talk some more about this.

I do not have a problem with "taking terry out" it's the way, starvation is cruel and my post was to tweak the noses of people that think killing this poor woman by starvation is , ok?

Strange that judges try to act as god. further ordinary people think they are god too. such ignorance... don`t they realise that everyone that has been born has to die and so will they their courts and their judges will not be able to help them in anyway.
it would have been better to kept terri alive even on tubes.

Now that terry has finished being MURDERED, I wonder how many of the "kind liberals" would have insisted that the Popes {he is gone now sadly} feeding tube be removed also!!
The pope's feeding tube was an ng tube, different than the PEG tube that required the surgery to place it. Also, the pope was never brain dead. He was concious and lucid until he died. HUGE diffence, than you choose to ignore to make your stupidly hypocrital point.

Shiavo is now dead. It's over. And, another fact you choose to ignore is that a dying person, particularly one in a vegetative state with half her brain gone, will not feel any suffering from being allowed to die. Only cognizant and otherwise healthy people would feel suffering as a result of starvation. Like the millions of those in poverty who starve every day because of our government's refusal, and budget cutting to help them out.

You're sicko. You should be allowed to starve to death. The world would be a better place, no doubt, you hypocritical bastard.

have a nice day and feed your kids.

and you would know this how? is it because your'e brain dead and have starved? no. It's because you WANT to believe what you think, as usual you never let facts get in the way of illusion, or delusions.
