Court Martial COL Gene

Court Martial COL Gene

In response to this article, I believe it's time to bring charges against the Clueless Old Liberal.

What charges you ask?

Disrespecting a senior officer (in this case, the Commander-in-chief) would be a fine start.

Anyone that has read any of the COL's articles or responses in various threads and blog entries can probably follow my point here. If the COL really has been an officer and a gentelman, then he'd be showing much more respect for the office and the office holder than he has in any of his rants and articles at JoeUser.

I begrudge no-one their right to free speech or free thought. I know that members of the military sign away many of those rights when they engage in their contract with the military. Once your raise your hand and take the oath, you lose many of the rights you are sworn to protect and defend -- one of the biggest being freedom of speech.

The COL is certainly entitled to have his thoughts and ideas, but his actions in expressing those ideas are at times borderline treasonous, and most certainly disrespectful. Were the COL still in the military, he could be facing Courts martial, where he could be busted down in rank and potentially face dishonorable discharge or worse.

Less hysterics and theatrics would be advisable. Using inflammatory article titles such as "Impeach Bush" are very much the equivalent of the types of tactics that the perpetrator of the fraudulent Bush National Guard memos attempted to pull. Flame the President in any way possible, despite it being against every bit of military decorum that should have been drilled into the head of the military member shortly after becoming a member of the armed forces of the United States.

Well, I say it's time to reactivate the COL and bust his butt back down to buck private. Perhaps then he'd really have something to howl about.

As I said I am not a lawyer. I do know that if Congress started to impeach Bush for not protecting the U S Borders, that it would end in his removal.

Unless of course, the Senate actually let the Constitution get in the way.

As I have said, if another 9/11 takes place and the terrorists are traced to comming over our unprotected border, you Bush supporters will be standing in the COLD!

You tell me how we can stop 100% of undesireables from coming over the border. I love how Bush Bashers create absolute no win scenarios, just so they don't have to admit that, while Prs. Bush does have his faults (and btw, I think his imigration policy is one of them). No one could measure up to the red herring bull crap set up by people who would rather see another terrorist attack, than have to credit Prs. Bush for a lack of one.

Don't bother, terp. He's doing a good enough job of hanging himself.

Cheers,
