A couple recommendations for beginners:

1) Let the Operation System and Programs do the work for you.

2) If the download process is not automatically installing the skin and asks whether you want to "Open", "Save", or "Cancel" - Always select "Save" (or "Save to disc"), and save to "My Documents" so you can see what file type you end up with before trying to do anything with it (never save a download directly to "C:\Program Files" directory, allow installer files or programs to do this work).BR>

3) As you become more advanced you can poke around in the Stardock program folders to see how they are structured. This will give you an understanding of where components are stored for use by the program, and is extremely helpful in troubleshooting - but beginners should wait a while before attempting this if the software will do the work for you.

4) An exception to #3 above would be with ObjectDock, where you have to either extract or manually copy/move files to their correct locations - for greater detail, you can see this thread: Link

Anyway, just some basics to start. If you want specific outlines for operations - just post here again.

Got Another One For You Guys-How does one save your own bmp. & jpg.'s, in Desktop X as a background, as well as being able to use the functions, and/or buttons & tabs of a particular theme. And Ive noticed the readme's on allot of these themes-the creators, explain that that people can use them as they wish, is the same true for all the themes on Stardok. And believe me I make it a point to read the designers notes & readmes files when avaiable. Also trying to reach Boxxi, The email appears to be working, but the Server refuses my request to send an email. Please Help with these questions and Issues.
