search for app names

Greetings,

I'm having a problem with the search for apps whose names are in the Russian language. Start11 v.2 and v.2.1 just can't find the apps like "Входящие", "Диадок", etc.

I have Everything 1.5 alpha installed (running as a service with admin rights), and yes, these search results do display in global search, but they are not considered by Start11 as apps with shortcuts in Start Menu.

I have Windows 11 24H2, if this matters. And yes, I know it's a prerelease, so please share your experience with any other Windows version.

I first tried the app (I mean Start11) a few weeks ago and was so impressed that I bought it almost immediately after not using any Stardock apps for like 10 years or so.

I have the same problem. I wrote about it here and left a video review, but so far to no avail. Let's hope that in this version the developer will correct this. I also wanted to ask to add the program icon to the “Add to Start11” context menu item, otherwise the void looks very bad there ...

Please let us know if that seems right, and if you have further thoughts to consider.

Wow! No. I mean WOW! :)

What a great find! You're absolutely correct!

What's more, it's all case-dependent. So, if what I look for is e'.g. "КриптоПро", I have to follow the case exactly as the name is stored.

But if I type "КР" or "кр", then it's a miss.

I can't wait for an updated beta to try!

I would appreciate it if you could say it's coming soon :)

From what I just read internally this issue was sorted out in an internal build. Hopefully it will be in Beta stage soon. We really appreciate your and others continual support and feedbacks on this.
