im tired of lugging around my 10 pound laptop already. i'm glad pc makers finally woke up to their available technology and began making light, thin pcs. sony's got a 12" machine thats packed with power. fun stuff is happening. anyone wunna buy my HP? i'll give you a good price on it so i can get smoething lighter.

Well, personally, I don't like Dells. Secondly, and to clarify, it's not as much a waste of money as it is too much to pay for something like that. $5,000+ is a hell of a lot to pay for a PC. Especially a Dell, who sells 3.2GHZ P4s for like $700 w/ craptastic monitor.

Now if I had $5,000, I would get a Dual 2GHZ G5 with 4GB of RAM, 500GB of HD Space for vid editing, an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, 1GHZ FSB, shite load of software, Apple 20in flat panel display....and even a 40GB ipod to go with it.... hell yea

please DO NOT use this as an excuse to start a flame war! I'm not bashing PCs, so don't bash macs!

the IT guys at work keep telling me how much they dislike Dells.. they say they're just not well built. i see em a lot in the design industry though, next to macs.
