im pretty sure they can get rid of those black fonts, but if its not a big enough issue or not enough people complain about.. they will just leave it as is.. unless thats like something hard coded into windows that cannot be changed, but i highly doubt that...

Sometimes basic works best. Nothing wrong with that. I love minimalistic styles at times as well.
