Upgrading Ships

Hello! As you play the game and ships fulfill their roles (survey ships surveying, attack types fighting or protecting, etc...) They gain experience and will be marked with upgrade options to choose from, other options are also unlocked and made available via upgrades or automatically apply buffs through the tech tree for military!

I am looking if you get aeron missile defense is there anyway to update ships to the new tech?

Update the current ships -- not new ones

No, I do not believe that is possible.  The way I understand it is they have to create the Mark2 ship to get that upgraded weapon, but they cannot retrofit that system on the Mark1 that they produced before the tech upgrade was acquired.

Sadly no. There is no way to upgrade ships. Its now called retrofitting for some strange reason. Upgrading is now for special ships when they level up (you can pick parts and stuff). I wish retrofitting was supported.

If you must retrofit, there is an unintended left over with rally points. You can retrofit ships 1 ship at a time at rally points. There should be a button you can press when you are selecting only 1 ship.
