With the Start11 1.36 release, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues.  

Obtaining Start11 1.36

Object Desktop members can get the release from within Object Desktop Manager

Reporting an issue

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)
  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen
  • Screenshots and videos are very helpful.  Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive services (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube) and links included in your post.  Images can be directly added.
  • If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions.  If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

Also wanted to point out that if you have the Windows Start Menu pinned in the Start11 Start Menu, and you open that up but then move your mouse down to the Start Button, and click it a few times - you can frequently have the Start11 Start Menu bugging out behind the Windows one. (attempting to animate up into existence and then flashing away, over and over again).

 

BTW - this issue and the other one (UCA one) both exist on upgrades but also now fresh installs.

Start11 1.39 was released today.

In 'Known Issues' it details:

-That we still need more information regarding systray icon crowding

-Why anyone with beta 1.38 installed will not automatically be prompted to update to 1.39.

Please take time to review each.
