For people with truncated popups when using a taskbar at the top we believe this was fixed for english installs months ago and more recently for non english installs (1.17 I think).

If you continue to have a problem then there must be another factor involved.  For example have you used a tool which claims to restore the Windows 10 taskbar on Windows 11 as that may make Start11 believe it is on Windows 10 and thus not workaround that issue with Windows 11.

Unfortunately I have decided that I just don't have time to dedicate to this right now and have dropped back to 1.11.  Hopefully the 1.18 release will come soon.

Things to fix in current 1.18 version on windows 11:

- The first icon to the right of the start button on the second monitor clipped or have a weired line on it

-  sometimes the taskbar is always on top and cover the open windows behind it

The taskbar should be always on top unless a fullscreen (filling the entire screen) application is running

Can you post a screenshot of the second issue as I don't think anyone has reported that.

Interesting tool, cool to see more and more mroe tools bringing ungouping back to windows 11.

Was testing the beta today, any way to disable this animation of buttons in the task bar plopping in?

I don't like animations in general would be great to be able to disable them all!

And an other question, can i use this tool to align the taskbar on each monitor on a different edge? Am only testing in VM so no multi monitor there lol

PS: is it possible to get a windows xp style cascading menu for the all programs?

The animations are linked to the OS setting for client area animations.

The primary monitor taskbar can be set separately from the secondary taskbars but the secondary taskbars must all share the same top / bottom setting as each other.

I wanted to let you know that the issue with the Explorer crashing and restarting when Windows starts and then loosing all the autostart programs is not the only issue.

Yesterday I was playing fortnite and wanted to change the resolution and for every time I switch from full screen to windowed, the explorer crashed and the start11 menu switched off and on ( I can see the icons from the taskbar moving from center to left, then left to center)

I am suspecting that something introduced in build18 is also affecting everything that deals with resolution changes and it is crashing the explorer.

Can you please take a look into this issue?.  I've never had this problem before, with any of the betas.

This has been fixed internally.

You are correct it is linked to display changes (res or dpi) which causes the code to do something it shouldn't be doing on Windows 10, only on Windows 11.

Thank you!.  I've switched back to version 17 and everything is working great again but I have the latency bug on the taskman closing which was fixed on 18.

Can we have an ETA on version 19 ?
