Features

  • Invasion Status- You can now click on any planet that is under Siege and selected the Siege button to see a detail screen on what is happening.
  • More Battle Arenas added.

Fixes

  • Fixed a broken tooltip for hit points on the Factions screen.
  • Fixed a broken tooltip for slavers guild on the Factions screen.
  • Fixed a text overflow on the Retribution event.
  • Typo fixes.
  • Fixed an issue where buying Culutre Traits wasn't increasing your ideology in that area.
  • Fixed an issue where some leader movies would skip on the diplomacy or trade window.
  • Fixed an issue where the Ai could get to many leaders.
  • Fixed an issue where the AI could assign multiple diplomats to another civilization.
  • Fixed a bug where Influence rank was backwards.
  • Fixed an issue keeping the Onyx Hive from getting Growth from stored Promethion.

Balance

  • Reverted a change to Housing Districts level up (this change was hot patched out on 3/4/2022).
  • Increased the amount of Tourism that goes into Influence from 25% to 50%.
  • Rebalanced influence after an invasion.
  • Planets can no longer respawn fighters and free defenders while they are under Siege.
  • Increased the min time to take a Colony from 3 to 4 turns.
  • The Spore Civilization ability now starts with 1 charge instead of 3.
  • Those of you pairing the Spore civilization ability with the Archaeologist ability are troublemakers. ;)
  • Onyx Hive homeworld now starts with a Prometheus Stone.
  • Citizens with the Way trait will try to spread it to other citizens on their planet.

UI

  • The Mode Bar now stays up when you are on any screen it switches between.
  • Better Siege notifications: The first turn your world is under Siege your turn button will warn you of it and take you there.
  • Improved the Tourism tooltip.
  • The Follow cam in Battle Viewer no longer snaps back.
  • The "Queue" entry on the planet context window now switches to Siege progress if the planet is under siege.
  • On the planet screen the special feature icons will remain visible even if an improvement is built on that tile.
  • Battle Role is now displayed in the Ship Design tooltip.

AI

  • The AI no longer uses Executive Orders at Beginner difficulty and below.
  • AI is now better at putting leaders in Factions.
  • Improved the AI's decision making around starbase modules.

nice, good list. esp like the changes to the onyx. and esp the one where they get promethion on their homeworld. might need to scale back their hp once their growth rate gets better though.

and yes, spore and archeologist are literally my 2 fav abilities :P instead of limiting spore to 1 though, i would suggest instead making the ability only usable on rocky worlds, not gas giants. for archeologist maybe a slight reduction in the amount of mining increase from +1 to +.7 or something. maybe add a couple asteroids to the navigators' starting star system to help them counter the loss though

Fixed an issue keeping the Onyx Hive from getting Growth from stored Promethion.

Onyx Hive homeworld now starts with a Prometheus Stone.

These are great.  I've been having a difficult time playing as the Onyx Hive in my current game because of their low growth rate.  I did get some help on my home planet when I used an event to get a Mimot there.  That increased my growth a lot,  and the new citizens were all Onyx Hive.


Planets can no longer respawn fighters and free defenders while they are under Siege.

Increased the min time to take a Colony from 3 to 4 turns.

Better Siege notifications: The first turn your world is under Siege your turn button will warn you of it and take you there.

The first one is great.  The second one is helpful for the defenders and shouldn't hurt the attackers much because of the first one.  The third one is great because I miss a lot new sieges the way things are now.

You missed the option to delete the background clouds that make it hard for visually impaired players to see the map. These clouds are cosmetic which mean of absolutely zero benefit to the game.😒

BTW, shouldn´t enabling / switching policies also cost control? To keep it meaningful late game. 

Also, will we get constructors exec order, as mentioned by Brad?

Although I am not visually impaired, I also find the "background" clouds (which seem in the foreground to my eyes) make it difficult to see what I want to focus on. I am constantly grabbing and moving the map to get the ship or whatever I want to look at out from under one of those purple-pink clouds. Yeah, I bet some folks love them as they add to the cool look of the field of space, but I just ignore them until they are in the way, then growl at them. It would help if the center of the viewing area of the map was completely free of such clouds, so we could see well. If you really want the clouds, have them on the edges of the map and keep the center clear. (Note: I play on large maps and usually have the view zoomed out some to see the grid--for those who play zoomed in, the clouds might not be a problem. ) Thanks for reading my feedback on this great game!

I'm not visually impaired, but I also find the background effects to be annoying. The purple nebula effect makes you think there's a nebula where you want to move your ships, the shooting stars look like moving ships and the dots of stars make you think there might be something there.

 I'm getting used to them, but it's annoying and if I had the choice, I'd turn it off and just have a simpler background. Cheers!
