Is there any ETA for the curtains fix yet (that affects start11 centre icons)?  Last week it was said late last week or this week.  It's now Thursday and still no update (I know we technically still have 1 day left but still).

It is awaiting QA testing.

Ctrl + Shift + Enter does not seem to launch the matched application as administrator, like the regular start search does.

Are you doing that on a Windows store app or a normal application and from search or the menu or ?

The reason for the large space is because you enabled "show more tiles" and you haven't placed anything in the 4th column - this was the same in real Win10

Start 11 on Windows 11 Time of day shown on Taskbar doesn't update. It appears to be stuck as static content with the time of day I first logged on.

Thanks, we were able to reproduce this.

Search was not handling this correctly.

This will be resolved in the next update.

Thanks, secondly search doesn't bring up the command prompt as an option if you search for cmd, had to type command to find it, used to the workflow of : Win: CMD: C+S+Enter

Icons on my second monitor's taskbar are very small and offset. Occurred after the 2021-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5007215).

Are you sure you have not told Start11 to have a smaller taskbar?

What settings do you have enabled in Start11 as thats not something we have been able to reproduce?

Start 11 Version 1.0 has a bug where notification area notification tooltips appear in places other than above the notification area. For me it seems to happen if you hover on the notification area and then move the cursor to the left of the notification area, while still being on the taskbar. It's as if Start 11 is thinking I'm still hovering on the notification area. Same applies for the keyboard layout changer: if you hover on the button so quickly that the tooltip doesn't pop up, it will pop anywhere your cursor is on the task bar.

A long paragraph of text, I agree. So here's two pictures instead (although one would have sufficed as it's the same bug).

First image: Laptop running 1.0, battery level indicator tooltip.
Second image: Desktop running 1.0, keyboard layout switcher tooltip.

This is a bug in the Windows 11 OS itself not Start11.  It is possible to reproduce the same behaviour with Start11 not installed.

I have a couple of issues.  Have read through 116 posts and can't see an answer, but apologies if I missed something.

1.  For some reason I have a normal (Medium setting) sized taskbar on my main monitor, but on my secondary monitor it seems to be large sized.

2.  Is there any way to get a clock on the taskbar of my secondary monitor ?

Many thanks !

Issue: Taskbar > Taskbar Size > Small

Start11 version 1.0

Any taskbar on any monitor other than the primary monitor does not adjust the size of the taskbar.  Icons size do change but just the size of the taskbar is incorrect.  I also tried Large and that one does resize correctly.

Hi there. Using Start11 1.0 and can't scroll through the start menu programs using the two-finger scrolling gesture on a touchpad (using Microsoft Precision driver). Scrolling using a mouse wheel seems to work fine.

Did you have a previous beta of Start11 installed as that was an issue in some of the betas but was fixed for 1.0?

Also which menu style are you using?

Yes, I had a beta installed. I just tried uninstalling Start11 and reinstalling and it appears to have fixed the problem. (Using the Windows 10 menu style, btw).

One note, it appears that the touchpad scrolling doesn't support the "flick" gesture, which would be nice (quickly swipe using two fingers and release, and the menu continues to scroll, similar to a free-scrolling wheel)

I am missing 'show as menu' for 'All Programs'. Or is it hidden somewhere?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Which "All Programs" You are referring? A screenshot please.

I uninstalled Start11 and I'm still getting it so it looks like a Windows 11 thing.

There is only one section "All Programs" in the startmenu.
