In Windows 10, you can search 'Exploit protection' to see what is pictured in that thread.

To be honest, it´s hard enough to translate that all into another language.

Maybe you can say how many options from the bottom or the top it is far away?

I guess it´s to do in the "programm settings" and not in the "system settings" in the "exploit protection" window?!

Honestly, this cant be the solution for this programm.

Best regards

EDIT:

I guess i got it. Not the solution but the stuff with the exploit.

Could anybody be so kind and send me a screenshot ot the "standard settings" from the exploit menu?

I didn´t export the original rules.

Just screenshots from:

- programm settings -> iexplore.exe (whats all activated)

Thanks in advance!

Well, I guess i tried all the stuff with the "exploit" topic.

Rebooted x-times, but not with the result I wished.

Will use the pre-version again.

Thanks so far to all helpers!

Quoting Andrey7,

Stardock Fences 3.1.0.5 running W10x64 always does if I save a new file to the Desktop:

Can you fix this to have new icons being places outside fences rather than behind, please?

Any updates on this issue?

Quoting sdRohan,

What is your desktop sort set to?

Sort by | None

You would not want it to be 'none', you would want one of the sorting options enabled (by name for example).

I will try changing Sort by to something else, test, and report.

However, I have the same Fences version installed at W7x64 with Sort by | None setting and never had icons hiding behind fences.

I'm running Win 10 Version 21H1 Build 19043.1110. I just installed this month's Windows updates and Fences beta is broken again.

I installed the new AMD GPU driver.

Well, I fences beta worked for....2 reboots...than it was broken again.

Maybe an approach?!

I both cases, I need to know what 'broken' means exactly (details, screenshots, video are VERY helpful).

I'm running Win 10 Version 21H1 Build 19043.1110. I just installed this month's Windows updates and Fences beta is broken again.

By broken again I mean that after rebooting I am getting the dialog saying explorer has crashed and to Right-click the desktop and select "Enable Fences" from the menu - Which then crashes explorer again - and on and on. Fences never starts. I had had no issues since I fixed it the first time until I rebooted after installing this month's Windows updates.

Perfectly fine to dismiss that.

I want to make people aware that the Fences 3.10 beta breaks the compatibility with the popular app Wallpaper Engine, if Fences 3.10 is installed Wallpaper Engine can't replace the desktop wallpaper. Downgrading to Fences 3.09 fixes it, I also made the devs of WE aware of this.
