Problem receiving free games keys

from Stardock Forums

I tried to get two free games:
Dead Man's Draw
Offworld Trading Company's multiplayer.
But every time I click "Validate and Get Key" I got:
"An error occured.
Sorry, there was an unexpected error processing your request. Please try again later.
If this problem continues please contact [email protected] for assistance.".

I sent an e-mail to support, but they answered that they do not provide e-mail support for that kind of problems. And that I should ask here.
So, can someone help me, please?

PS.
I did all previous steps and got e-mails with:
"We're almost there! Click the confirmation button below to receive your Steam key for Offworld Trading Company's multiplayer client and to receive email notifications about future events, content and promotions."
"We're almost there! Click the confirmation button below t' loot yer Steam key for Dead Man's Draw and to receive email notifications about future events, content 'n promotions."

If you are a first time customer of Stardock Games (through Steam), we request that you first fully open a Stardock Game through Steam. You may have come here directly from our game launcher, but it will help us greatly if you can first enter the game. This will help us validate your credentials with Steam so that we may get you your free copy of Dead Man's Draw.

 

Once you opened the game, please return to this page and refresh it and you should be able to continue.

I'm pretty disappointed. I tried several times to claim the OTC key, and the reply email would take a very long time to arrive (1 hour and 21 minutes in the one instance where I bothered to keep track). After finally receiving and I opening each email, I'd get an error message which I assume has something to do with the key having expired due to the amount of time it took.

This morning, I finally got an email response after about 45 minutes, but upon clicking the link, I got a "403 Access Not Authorized" page. Now when I go to the key offer page, I get a notification that the promotion has expired.

The irony is that, in creating my login to post this message, an account activation email arrived to my inbox within seconds.

I guess I missed out. I tried several times and waited hours for emails to arrive and have nothing to show for it. Frustrating.

I received the account validation email finally after requesting it be resent a few times, but I never received the verification email that was sent when attempting to claim the key for Dead Man's Draw. There was no way to resend the email that I could find, and now I checked today and the page to claim the key says it's expired. I claimed the game but I didn't get the email I was supposed to have got. Yes I checked my spam folder and there's nothing there from Stardock. Really frustrating. What can I do?

Unfortunately until further notice we have had to end the free game promotion. However, we are looking into resuming it in the near future.

OK. But what with all people that received an e-mail with link to the key? Are we going to get the keys? It was before you end the promotion.

The main issue currently is we simply ran out of keys. We're trying to get more but there is no guarantee.
