Problem receiving free games keys

from Stardock Forums

I tried to get two free games:
Dead Man's Draw
Offworld Trading Company's multiplayer.
But every time I click "Validate and Get Key" I got:
"An error occured.
Sorry, there was an unexpected error processing your request. Please try again later.
If this problem continues please contact [email protected] for assistance.".

I sent an e-mail to support, but they answered that they do not provide e-mail support for that kind of problems. And that I should ask here.
So, can someone help me, please?

PS.
I did all previous steps and got e-mails with:
"We're almost there! Click the confirmation button below to receive your Steam key for Offworld Trading Company's multiplayer client and to receive email notifications about future events, content and promotions."
"We're almost there! Click the confirmation button below t' loot yer Steam key for Dead Man's Draw and to receive email notifications about future events, content 'n promotions."

Appreciate your candor. Looks like reddit hugged your key system to death. I know I found out about it from the posts on a free game subreddit.

OK. But what with all people that received an e-mail with link to the key? Are we going to get the keys? It was before you end the promotion.



The main issue currently is we simply ran out of keys. We're trying to get more but there is no guarantee.

So, you should end the promo earlier, don't you think? Looks like you gave a false hope to many people.

I received the email talking to validate and get the key but when I click it I get http error 403 X(

I'm also getting error 403 for both this game and Dead Man's Draw. Hope support fixes this.

The OffWorld game had an error in revealing its key, and the page indicated that an email was sent to support for the problem to be resolved.

My email is: Please don't post your email on the forums.

I got the email late at night ( hours after I validated my account ) and I was able to see the key yesterday. I can't seem to see it today. Same 403 error

I had the same problems. I registered in time (although I had already registered before) and the confirmation email (2 even) came in the middle of the night. When I clicked, I landed on an error page, now on an empty blank page. It is simply disappointing when you see at the same time that others seem to have received several keys and then sell or give them away somewhere else. That can't be the point of the thing.

This wasn't accepted by the giveaways. Could you white list this eMail domain, otherwise I guess I will have to merge accounts or ask support to change the e-mail address.

I made a second Stardock account because of this issue, but it was too late. The giveaways expired by the time I managed to activate the new Stardock account.

So far support just gave me a link to this thread.

No email is being accepted by the giveaway at this time. Have you forgotten your original account details for that account?

I have account details for both, but when the giveaway was live, the giveaway page refused the email address which my Stardock account was registered with. I.e. I could login to my Stardock account, but could not take part in the giveaways.

From memory I think I was logged in and the giveaway asked for my email anyway, but I'm not 100% sure so I'll wait with a definitive answer to this until the giveaway is live again.
