uh... what does FencesPro mean..?

Fences was once called Fences Pro 1.x. But I believed the "Pro" was dropped later on. Now, its latest version, it is just Fences 3

Hello,

is this a separate version of the program? I have Fences 2.0, but when I tried upgrading to 3.09 it says my product key is not valid.

By the way, I checked for updates literally this morning, it said my version was up to date. Then I looked in the forum for a separate issue, and saw that there's an update. Uhm.... can the program let me know that?

Fences 3.0 is a newer versions for Fences. You need to purchase for Fences 3.0. If you already own Fences 2.0 you can buy Fences 3.0 at a discount. Just follow the link and at the bottom of the page there is a discount button for Fences 2 owner.

Ok, thank you for the reply.

Could you please let me know if Fences 3.0 fixed these two issues?

1) files save to the secondary monitor instead of the primary desktop. (https://forums.stardock.com/491770/)

2) Cannot manually arrange icons in a fence. They only align to grid in sequential order. 

Don't want to spend more money if the problems are the same in 3.0, y'know?

As far as I know :

1) unsure

2) You can arrange manually but it will be always align starting from the left to the right accordingly. It can never be separated in a group as some people would like it to be.

But you can always try out 3.0 using the "Try it Free". Its a full version so what ever it can or cannot do will remain the same for the purchase version.

Your email telling me about downloading Fences 3.09 took me to this page.  I am looking for the link to download.  When I followed your other directions to   https://cdn.stardock.us/downloads/public/software/fences/Fences_3.09_setup_sd.exe 

I get the following message:  Secure Connection Failed.  An error occurred during a connection to cdn.stardocku.  SSlreceived a record with an incorrect message authentication code. Error code ssL_error_BAD_MAC_Read.   The page... authenticity of the received data could not be verified.  Please contact the website owners to inform them of the problem.   Please provide a working link to download Fences 3.09.  Thanks.  I use Firefox.

 I tried following a different route and got the same error message on another page.    Happy New Year.  I am not expecting a speedy reply.

Don't use crome and don't understand Firefox Private Window.  I download programs from your site before.  Do you have an alternative download site.?
