[solved] License conversion?

A few months ago I purchased a license for Object Desktop, expecting a permanent license.  I was unpleasantly surprised to find later that the license is an annual license, not permanent.  If the applications within Object Desktop are purchased separately, are those licenses permanent, or are they annual as well?  If permanent, is there any way my existing Object Desktop license can be converted to a license for Fences and for Groupy?  Or at least for Fences?

Sorry for airing dirty laundry in public.  I would've submitted a ticket for this, but the ticket system registration is currently broken.

It seemed like a good deal at the time.  I came here to buy Fences, but for $15 more I could get a dozen other desktop toys to play with.  Right?  I see the inconspicuous text at the bottom reading "Access updates and betas for included software for one year", but to me that meant free upgrades for a year, then keep whatever's current at the end.  What I bought was not what I expected.

Hello,

You can not convert OD items to individual . You have to buy individual items.

What you can do though if your not going to renew OD is Save the downloaded installation 

file ( keep it safe somewhere that you can find when needed ) and you can continue to

use that program . However without renewing OD you will not be able to get updates to

that program or new versions as they come out . To update you would have to buy again

either as individual or as the OD package again.

Oh, so Fences, Groupy, etc. will continue working even after my OD subscription expires?  That's cool.  That's more like what I thought I was buying in the first place.  Sorry for the crap post.  I got scared that my Fences installation would stop working when OD expired.

Oh, yeah, I see the FAQ entry for this question now.  Thanks for setting me straight Az.  You're a gentleman and a scholar.

When it is time though Object Desktop can be renewed at a Discounted Price.

still a very good deal to get all the apps. and  updates .

If you own OD now you can renew at a discount https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/renew

also keep in mind as an app ages and Windows updates you would need the latest versions

to receive the best help from support for fixes .
