CursorFX - both new and old cursors show at same time

Hi all,

I've looked all over the internet and re-installed the CursorFX program so many times, I just cant get this issue to permanently stop.

So far, I have found a tiny quick-fix that only works until you switch your PC off.  (log off and log back in)

The problem:

The problem is that when i log in for the first time, everything loads fine, however the my cursor shows the CursorFx cursor and the old windows cursor both side by side. To temperately solve this issue i would need to simply log out and then log back in. But as you would see this is a massive pain, having to log out every time you start up your PC.

here is my cursor:

You might want to mention which operating system you are on to assist support in resolving your issue when they see this thread.

Might better submit a ticket at esupport.stardock.com.  You'd need to get lucky with a forum member here to sort this out & who knows when that will be.  Support staff do monitor the forums but only infrequently can resolve issues here, so a formal ticket submission is probably your best option.

Not help but just a curiosity, instead of logging out what if you just open CursorFX and reload the cursor again.

Was asked to relay information with regard on this dual cursor issue..

"With the release of the Windows 10 2018 Fall update : V1809 (if you have it yet), do you still have this issue with CursorFX? We have reports that it was resolved with this update.

Thank you,
