I have windows 8 and will never upgrade to 10.  The recent update to fences 3.5.111 is not fully compatible with Windows 8.  I get artifacts, screen flickers, transparency is screwy and bleeding .  I went back to 3.1 and everything is fine again.  Only thing is it keeps prompting me to update to the new version.  How do I disable this?

I'm starting to doubt if it will work with W7, since I'm considering an upgrade. Is 3.1 still available ?
