We had another welcome post, but I figured it would be a good time to start a new official one. So let's give a welcome to the community and introduce yourself!

Hey, I'm Serosis (formerly known as Kohr-Ah Death over at the Ur-Quan Masters forums).

Took me awhile to become a founder but decided to do it. If you know about it I work on the UQM MegaMod and have been a Star Control II fan for 20 some odd years and have been fudging with its source code for over a decade.

Can't wait to see what the first main game beta brings to the table.

Hi, I am Jordan, 39 from Taiwan. I am a machine designer.

I have been a Star Control 2 fan for over 20 years. I love to design staffs and see them in action, especially in SC2. Back in 2000-2007, I recreated graphics for 21 ships (https://haomaic.deviantart.com/gallery/). Some were my originals, some were from SC3. I played Star Control 2 for countless times and still had lots of fun. I am so excited and looking forward to play the whole SCO game!!

Hi, PantherX here, nice to meet you all. I look forward to the open Beta or alpha of the Full game. I mean. I like the fighting. but what I loved the most about this game was the store/open galaxy/strategy/exploration of it all. doing everything and knowing that 1 small mistake means extreme hardships down the road.

Hi all! I'm late to this party but I'm Matt, aka 'Prophet224'. I loved Star Control and Starflight (a semi-contemporary), and I'm looking forward to Stardock's take on SC. Once upon a time I worked in software development, game testing, things like that, now I'm mostly a SQL guy in finance, but also developing a few of my own things. Greetings, hunams.

 

I go by Serax on the Discord. Loved this game since I first played it. SC on Sega Genesis, then SC2 afterwards. Loved the UQM, the remasters, all the music. I've been a big fan, so when I saw this was getting done, I jumped on board without hesitation. I've been doing other things, and fleet battles isn't my main interest, so I'm very pumped and hyped now that the first playtesting can be done!
