Oops, fixed it. Thanx for report. (Teach me to upload before testing tbh)

Thanks, 1.1 loads without error.  It's going to be a while before my game is advanced enough to try out one of these treaties though.

Will the mod work on saved games or will I need to start a new one?

Will need to start a new one.

Hows does it work together - if at all - with your Cosmetic diplomacy mod?

Works fine with ID. Compliment each other :)

Thank you, sir, for your patient answering of my questions. I look forward to trying your mods very soon. I hope the devs are watching your mods and consider incorporating them into the vanilla game!

Just one more question, if I may? I hope it's not a dumb one...

When using your mods, do we install the overarching folder name in our Mods folder, or the mod-name subfolders?

So what I mean is, do we use the overarching folders "Informative Diplomacy - Cosmetic 1.6-81-1-6" and "Two Way Alliances v1.1-85-1-1"

or

Do we instead use the named sub-folders "Informative Diplomacy" and "Two Way Alliances"?

Sorry if this is dumb...

Thanks!

Download, Extract to Mod folder, done.

Thanks for this, out of curiosity what does the <TwoWay>true</TwoWay> do, if you still have to specify <GiverModifier> & <ReceiverModifier> to make it a two-way treaty?

If I wanted to also change the cost of treaties what files would I need to mod.

I want to basically make it that when I offer a treaty, I also always have to pay.

I want to do this to make myself stop treaty spamming. So I only use treaties with other players as a strategic tool and not a quick and easy cash machine.

Any help will be appreciated

I have no clue tbh what that tag is actually doing.

Answered your other question in your thread :)

I can only guess on the tag, but it appears to block the AI from offering treaties (judged from the fact that only exploration treaty is avaiilable from AI side after trading the necessary tech and it being the one treaty without the tag).

So my guess is, that it was intended to prevent you from offering and receiving a research treaty from the same partner at the same time. Well... it kinda does...

Cool, will play around with that to see

Oh look... another Horemvore mod that is so sensible, people shouldn't be allowed to play without it!

Well Done Sir.

I installed the improved diplomacy and 2 way treaties in crusade and they are excellent.  However I have 2 questions.

Alliances require a standing of 16 however I seem to be stuck on a standing of 10 with most of the other races with little to no negative modifiers.  What do I need to do to make the jump to 16?

I noticed one civ I was trading with that I had a plus 1 modifier on the diplo screen which surprised me because this had bee removed in Crusade.  I wasnt able to repeat this with other Civ's.  Did you mod back in the trading diplo bonus?

Yes

Stuck, how do you mean stuck?

Little to no negatives? I find that hard to beleive tbh, Ideology for one should give a negative for most civs, unless you using custom civs that are all the same ideology as you. Same goes for AI's going for a Conquest Victory.

If you could post a screen shot of the issue that would help.

Sorry maybe for not explaining more clearly.

Im playing benevolant and picked all benevolant/pragmatic oponenents to reduce the different ideology modifier.  I have some "you are ripe for conquest" but overall all races are extremely positive towards me.  My problem is that my standing rose steadily to 10 but its not increasing even when my diplo score is very high and after a lot of turns.  I was just wondering is some specific road block in place at 10 in order to prevent alliances bieng to easy to achieve.

No road block.

Can you hover over an ally in the diplo screen then capture a screenshot and post that here please?

It should look like this :-

I jusy played a game with mods disabled.  I was able to form a few alliances quickly enough i notices that the alliances reqiured a standing of 9 (with mods enabled its 16).  Im guessing that 16 is beyond the maximum which i think is 10.

Is there a way to still get this mod? I realize that you've pulled all of your mods from Nexus, but do you a current link? Whatever your answer, thank you for your hard work.

I have all the DLC except for Crusade, will this mod work for me? Also, what about the Cosmetic diplomacy mod?

This contains all my works to date. Treaties will work without crusade, Diplomacy might, but I doubt it.
