Be careful of the ones that glow in the dark.
Nope, it was a 16 year old milk maid in her father's chicken coop... we were playing doctors and nurses.
One day her father came in and caught us: "And what the bloody hell do you think you're doing?", he bellowed at me.
Quick thinking I says; "Taking her temperature, sir."
Then he thunders: "Well in that case, when you pull that thing out of there it had better have numbers on it."
They were competing with the rabbits.
13 hmm… Awesome summers. Two years after Terminator 2. Last Action Hero! Awesome summer that year as well. So many kids/teenagers spoke to each other and played every kind of sport and long bike rides without the madness of health and safety. Look how mad it is now. Seems nearly everyone or far too many are walking about with their heads down thumbing.
Strange thought that now… no PC or Internet or knowing what the Internet was in the 90s. Nobody spoke of it, well just starting at least in 98/99.
Wow, another oldie! Hey Voo!
drawing on cave walls, playing with dinosaurs, trying to capture fire and failing miserably.. ( shit kept burning my fingers..)
Just an average days work back in the day..
13... just about to enter pon farr ![]()
You're not half showing your age... like Jafo can only go back as far as Moses and the bulrushes... though one could easily be forgiven for mistaking him for a dinosaur. Yeah, he once tried to enter an archaeological competetion, but was subsequently disqualified because the age on his application form showed he was older than the dirt most fossils were found in.
Which is Klingon for reform school.
And before anyone says "but he's Vulcan, not Klingon", I know that.... but that's what he wants us to think, so the trail to his bad-boy-days goes cold.
