Haha, I literally just came here to say "don't put too much stock in the planet screen, we're tearing it apart and reworking it pretty much as we speak."

But yeah, don't put too much thought into the planet screen. That one is super bonus awesome for missing the texture that should live behind the hex grid, but otherwise it's pretty much what you'll see on Thursday.

The final planet screen, however, will be much different and better organized in terms of how it presents information to you and lets you interact with it.

Such is the alpha lifestyle.

Cool I got a question if you don't mind.. Do borders work the same way as in GalCIv2? Other factions can colonize the colonized planets inside your border or no?

I'll only say that if my weakling of a videocard cannot handle the game at lowest settings ever, I'm going to cry. Blood. :waaaa:

On a side note, visually it looks really good for a pre-alpha. For a moment, one could forget that it's a work in progress. :drool:

Well, it looks nice. The enthusiasm from the person in the video is obvious. Movement looks good.

The video doesn't really show much "gameplay" though. It's to be expected from a pre-alpha product, but I'm not feeling the same level of excitement out of it that others are.
