Suggestions for 2014 WC Community Project

The last community skin we did was the Holiday Community Suite back in 2009.  I wouldn't mind doing another winter holiday suite, but that's for later in the year.

So lets start getting ideas for the next community suite.  Do we go for a season like Spring or Summer?  Another holiday?  A different type of theme?

Lets hear it and discuss it and get moving on the next one.

Will provide a download link to the PSD (Zipped) from the wallpaper I make as blanket-approval for anyone to use for any reason within the confines of this project (Logon Studio and more).

(This a good example of how you don´t need to copy, cut  & paste graphics from a PSD to produce a matching skin)

Download Dropbox, create a free account, put GFX in the public folder Dropbox gives you, right click the zip, choose public link, paste it here, in the thread.

Personally, I think everything would match much better if things were made with the original graphics.

My Everwood iconpackage matches very well with bleumart's Blind. I could create some additional matching icons for specific apps etc. if anyone is interested in having me help out.   -- Ace --

anyone have any requests or suggestions for some additional app icons.....so far I have a Winamp & windows media player completed. I'm now working on a VLC media player and a few other app icons as well. There may be many that I have not thought of , so some feed back would probably help me immensely. Also , any kind of a timeline that I should be aware of for completion of the project ?   Thanks.        -- Ace --

OK, Andy. Twas just an opinion. And maybe a reply to your statement in Reply 206.

 

Not meant to get you to change your way of creating. I was only pointing out that, at least for some of us, the best way to match is to use the original graphics.
