Double 7x Homeworld

I must have set up a couple thousand DA galaxies over the years, but yesterday I had my very first Homeworld with TWO 7x manufacturing bonus tiles.

There had been some question in my mind if it were even possible for there to be two of the same 7x bonus tiles on the same planet.  Now I know it may be very, very rare, but it is definitely possible.

gratz, actually it are 8x tiles :)

Im not always happy with such tiles at my homeworld since they can sort of imbalance the game. Last 2 times I wanted to try out thalan all factory's, both time i had an 8x production tile. With the precursor module on it you can produce a simple no engine colony ship each turn, and still have some of your production slider over to generate 1 research point, so creativity can proc.

No, 7x is correct. 7x, 3x, and 1x are referring to the bonus amount you get from those tiles, not the total amount your factories/labs/etc. will produce there.

As for the topic, I've never seen two Precursor Mines or Libraries on a single planet, but that is probably because I've only played TotA in the last years. In TotA, Precursor Mines and Libraries are each limited to one per map.

Strange. I think I've had TA games that had multiple Precursor Mines and Precursor Libraries on the same map.

Edit: Ok, I gone through at least a dozen old saves thus far and I haven't found a map that 2 precursor mines or libraries yet. However, I've saw maps that had 0 precursor tiles, but those were smaller maps (like Tiny sized). Does the map size play a role in how many Precursor tiles there are on a map? I'll try a very big maps for my next few games.

Edit 2: I managed to find a save file that had a very large map. However, I wasn't able to find 2 precursor mines or 2 precursor libraries.
