Retirement of Several Stardock Applications

Retirement of Several Stardock Applications

Today we're announcing the retirement of DesktopX, Natural Desktop, and Aquarium Desktop 2009. They will no longer be available for purchase or trial download (in the case of DesktopX).

Existing customers of the individual products and current Object Desktop subscribers (where appropriate for DesktopX) will continue to have access to their registered downloads via their Stardock account. The apps will install and function as normal.

DesktopX themes will continue to be available from the gallery on WinCustomize

Actually, that's funny! I was thinking about SMX as a replacement for DX.

You should really look into XWidget. It looks and feels like I hoped DX to be like some day. Nice and easy framework.

I have used Desktopx 4 for a while now without problems. However, on reinstalling my OS, I can not get hold of it anymore and I am sadly missing it. Does anybody know where I can get it?

Previous versions do not do what I want it to.

Thanks

I have been a huge fan of wincustomize and stardock for years now. I look forward to my Friday nites as the week winds down, I sit at my computer and head over to see whats new. I've been getting into all sorts new customizing for my desktop, and have been looking at the desktopX screen shots.  Is there any where I can get the latest version on sale some place? Has it been truly rendered unattainable? Those icons look so cool and I would love to create themes on my own.
