Stardock 20 year anniversary series

I was thinking about writing a series of articles on the history of Stardock. That is, how we got started and some of the challenges that are involved in running a small technology company.  But I wanted to find out first if there’s interest in this before I put in the time to write them.

Let me know in the comments area if you’re interested in such a series.

20th anniversary...wow time flies. Congrats on the milestone.

I'd be interested in some history lessons as long as you skip the test at the end.

I'm sure it would make for an interesting read.  I'll look forward to it.  On another note it would be nice to eventually see some information on a time table for a possible Galactic Civilizations 3 :) you know whenever.

One of these things is not like the other... c'mon, don't try to hijack the thread like that. The topic had NOTHING to do with a time table for any product at all.

I think you should dictate, or have some voice conversations with Po and then let him write it. He is a natural writer (among numerous other talents from what I've seen ). With his wit and your recap of the facts it would be a total success that would go down in history as a classic.

you say Frogboy needs a ghostwriter? have you forgotten about this:

;)

i'm looking forward to read it. please include a lot of personal stories. i wouldn't enjoy a repetition of the skin primers.

Honestly, I think it depends on whether you need to get it out there to stop the idea buzzing around inside your head.  If so, it doesn't matter what we say, you will need to at least bullet point it or you will go nuts.  Ideas have a way of either turning into obsessions or just fading away before you put them down in black and white.

I'm very interested in this. I'm interested in game programing, and I would love to know a more detailed account as to how you got your start. I also would like to know about what kind of hurdles you had to overcome. I like details, so don't worry about holding stuff back. You won't bore me.

I also know that you have mentioned on many occasions that you think that the computer industry would be better off had IBM not given up on OS/2 by letting it die. I would like to know what you think might have happened instead.
