I don't really like my touch screen, but I must say that 8 is better with it.

What I'd actually love to see is that device compatible with Photoshop (or PaintShopPro), enabling the user to paint/sketch/create using the the screen like a Wacom Tablet. THAT would be really something!

I dunno, Tom, what are we gonna do with you?  You don't like Win 8, you don't like 'touch' [which I find strange for a man ] and you don't like Google Glasses.  Yup, we need to get you interested something technologcally modern or you're gonna get labeled and old dinosaur and get put out to pasture. 

I mean, it might be fun chasing lady dinosaurs through grassy meadows, but if you're not into 'touch', what 'd be the point?

Nah, seriously, be happy with what you've got, I say.  Just cos some folks like other stuff, don't mean to say you gotta.

While being a novel approach, it may just be the thing to get sales of Win 8 moving along.  Being that people realise Win 8 is optimised for touchscreen Pc's, and the price of such machines is above their means/budgets, this could be the game breaker that boosts sales along.  I'd like to do my part, well above what I've already done [purchasing 3 copies of Win 8], but I haven't whispered sweet nothings in Shaunna's ear as yet. I'd have to get her in that 'let me buy something' mood, and that's not something one tackles without great preparation and a quick exit planned if things go awry.

Yeah, I wanted to make it a little more interesting than just a tech article, thus the humour, but I seem to have missed something, given the slow/poor response.  I'm sort of wondering if I should have added On Your PC to the title... just to take away the sexual connotation 'touch' could have without some kind of clarification.

As for the idea of using this device to control various actions in PSP or Photoshop, yeah, not bad... not bad at all. 

But then you could always uprade to Win 8, where it would be possible to use hand motions, etc..  Hehe.

As I understand it, the pen/stylus acts as a finger and the receiver provides multiple touch points so the laptop, etc, works much like a tablet.  Okay, perhaps it's somewhat of a novelty to some, a toy even, but if it provides the touch functionality it claims, then it will serve a purpose for those who cannot afford the more expensive option.... a genuine touch screen.  I sure as heck can't.

$100 to make use of a touch UI on your PC ... nope can't see a problem ....

sarcasm aside, the device is interesting and if they can change it for art programs they might be on a winner ...
