Faction Ability that adds : Young Umberdroth, Adult Umberdroths, Elder Umberdroth, Black Crag Umberdroth, Ophidian and Black Drake to be trained in your cities.

Lady Umber's Legacy 

A Faction Ability that adds the possibility to train Young Umberdroth, Adult Umberdroths (Blacksmithing), Elder Umberdroth (War Colleges), Black Crag Umberdroth (Sion Temple), Ophidian (Rituals) and Black Drake (The Black Quire).

Features

Young Umberdroth : Overpower, Tough, Spellresistance and Lady Umber's Gifts.

Adult Umberdroth : Overpower, Large, Spellresistance and Lady Umber's Greater Gifts.

Elder Umberdroth : Overpower, Large, Spellresistance and Lady Umber's Greater Gifts.

Black Crag Umberdroth, Overpower, Monsterous, Immune to Magic and Lady Umber's Greatest Gift. Gains perks.

Ophidian : Large, Deadly Bite, Immune to Magic and Lady Umber's Gifts.

Black Drake : Firebreath, Monsterous, Overpower and Lady Umber's Greater Gifts.

v1.4 : Urxen Witch and Elder Sion removed from this mod, they are now their own mods 

v1.3 : Urxen Witch now cost 100 population, Adjusted mana cost and casting times of spells, adjusted cost of Umberdroth and Elder Umberdroth.

v1.1 : Alot of fixes. Changed Death Adept to Witchcraft.

v1.0 : Stormworld compatible, Not depended on other mods, various adjustments, FixedSions now a seperated file so it can be deleted if you dont like my version of Sions. Urxen Blood removed, changed to Urxen Witch Blood.

v09 : Added Dark Crag Umberdroths (Gains perks). Added Urxen Witches (Air and Death Adept Henchmen (Cannot be designed)). Upgraded Sion's (Cannot be designed). Added Lesser Shadowbolt and a slightly more powerful Shadowbolt. Changed Urxen Blood to : +10 Weight Capacity and 2 regeneration. Mana Upkeep removed, Added Wages.

v08 : Added mana upkeep to units and some regeneration

Updated and added some spells to Witchcraft

Witchcraft I : Shadowdart, Witch Curse, Beguile. Witchcraft II : Blindness, Lifesteal, Howl. Witchcraft III : Shadowblast, Demonic Ally, Cloak of Fear.

Small Update 

Changed Sion to Elder Sion so the old Sion's would not be affected for those who like them or if Stardock should choose to change them

Edit : Added Toxic Blade (Witchcraft I), Shadowbolt (Witchcraft II) and Steal Spirit (Witchcraft III).

Edit 2 : Fixed Urxen Witch bad Ability making them not show up in build list

Edit 3 : Fixed Steal Soul (Diablerie) and some balance issues.

Thanks for the mod, i have been using it and I really enjoy it.  I have noticed though that when running stormworld and this mod together, I am unable to produce elder sions.  The tech is in the tree, but when researched, the elder sion does not appear in the units list.  Thanks!  Keep up the great work.

Thanks for this mod its fun to command powerful beasties around and the Black Crag Umberdroth rule them all xD.

But i think i found a bug in the latest version, i can't train black drakes even after researching the black quire i can train

every other creature in the mod except those.

yes i am running stormworld(factions and reliquary) 1.5x, snaking 1.3, and add faction traits and races v2(latest version)

 

about the prices i think they are fairly balanced if anything i would move the umberdroth(the basic one) into weaponry tech because for example they completely own basic spear units.

Black crag umberdroth is extremely expensive but also very very powerful so i don't really think it should be changed.

the Ophidian(is it called like that) i don't know it is fairly powerful maybe increase the mana cost a little bit, however their crystal cost kinda balances them a bit but maybe not enough.

Also the trait itself should cost 2 points instead of one because its fairly powerful and might be op costing only 1 faction point, well thats what i think anyway.

Also question does the ai summon the beasties into battle?, haven't played against my faction yet but it would rule to fight against them.

Thank you for much needed feedback :) ... The Black Drake problem I am unsure of, but try to download again, I have made some adjustments to balance and I will test with Stormworld installed to see if that mod causes the Black Drake problem.

I have nerfed the basic Umberdroths, renamed them "Young Umberdroth" and removed the tech req, this is because i wanted the beasts to be useful from the get go. Might have to increase the mana cost.

I have seen the AI use the beasts, but i think it depends on the type of AI given to the sov.

well you must be sick and tired of me by now but you haven't complained so ill keep at it xD.

My first impressions with the young umberdroth are that its tactical regeneration ability is op for a unit ready from the very beginning.

My reason to think this is, mites mob and bandits are not really strong opponents but in the beginning of the game i only have my sov, my champion and slave explorers(if i am playing magnar) but normally just my sov and my champ, i can take out these enemies with my sov and champ and not getting any of them beaten but normally both of them end pretty banged up after a fight or two so i have to stop and recover.

With the young umberdroth i could go beating mob after mob of starter enemies with little to no damage to my sov and champ and the umberdroth recovering fully or almost fully while taking out these start game enemies with a lot of ease and even taking banished ogres(who are a little trickier) very easily.

so yeah i would advice to remove regen from the first umberdroth or replacing tough(+3 hp level) with endurance(+1 hp level).

edit: got an elder umberdroth noticed they are no longer in warrior temple tier but a bit lower, their stats and price seem balanced enough except for the very one thing i said before, tried them in several battles vs altar faction and they had similar tier units(boar spears, warhammers  shortbows and the like)  and again i found that the regeneration ability gives them that extra edge that makes them stronger than they should be i think.

I mean the AI managed to hurt them on several occasions but they recover and in the end outlast every other trained unit of the same tier.

I will have to playtest abit to balance the Young Umberdroths .. Increased the cost, and replaced Tough with Endurance1, perhaps I will reduce the regeneration to 1.

Elder Umberdroths was too hard to get to so i changed the tech, I might put a "Mature Umberdroth" there and change Elder Umberdroths to Warrior temple again.

Well played around with the mod a bit more, it seems to be more balanced in general and the first umberdroth is now balanced by its mana cost.

And i can confirm that i can train black drakes with stormworld(full by the way), those are balanced i think stat wise but please god oh please remove fire breath from them everyone who plays FE knows fire breath is too OP or at least make a separate fire breath for them.

I mean my black drake had 39 attack points the description in fire breath says "does the user damage in fire" but this is not true this drake had 79 points of fire damage decimating everything and leaving them crispy and crunchy.

Fire breath is ok being op with dragons being the strongest there is, but with a trained unit is op in every way especially when it does 2x its damage in a 1 tile area, my advice would be either give them a dumbed down version or replace this with swing(the one that takes ages to finish) you know the tail attack.

And I want them to fix the time it takes for a dragon to do Sweep.  Seems to take 8-10 seconds.

Minor Update : Removed Black Drake's Firebreath and replaced it with Maul, until I can make or find some other more suited power.
