Been a lot of weeks where its been promised the next day, week, or no notice given at all leaving us with no patch so its much safer to hope for the best and expect the worse than to automatically assume no notice means its being released late at night or tommorrow.

I've no complaints with waiting as I would rather a polished product than a rush job. Some notice could be far better of course but its just a Beta so its nothing to get bent out of shape over, for all we know they have been working their asses off night and day and there will be an automatic process later that unlocks the next patch while team gets some sleep.

Another educated guess based on past experience is that Derek has been very good about releasing change logs ahead of time so the lack of any change log probably means the release is being delayed while they work out some kinks.

But I only see .90.001 and an update 0.90.002, not patch from .86 to .90...

Yikes, you are right, do I need to download .90.001 and update? I though I download .90.002 for my .86 beta? I'm not sure that point.

Well, downloading now... worst case and we have to install from scratch, I'm ahead... best case, they upload .86->0.90 before I finish, and I switch downloads...

Either way, at least I know I will watch the Stanley Cup playoffs without my little sunshine magic fan ready to kill me "because I promised the 12th"...

Rebelito, in case you haven't figured this out, already:  The second box, under the Downloads section of the Stardock Store, is labeled: Beta Update (to 0.90.002).  But this so-named "update" actually embodies the patch, from .86 to .90.  I downloaded it a short time ago, and it all worked just fine.  So, I think it should work for you too.  Good Luck !  (May the deities that govern computers and programs smile upon you.) 

I was thinking about that, but then again, they treated 0.86.002 as an update to 0.86, not as an update to 0.85... so, how to be sure?
