Some of you may have recently gotten a large Rebellion update via Steam. *waves hand* This is not the build you're looking for. There is no new version.
This release was unintentional and wasn't ready for prime time. Apologies, but we will re-release when we're ready.
Because it gets in the way of beta testing.
There's no point in the community finding and reporting bugs that the developers already know about.
That wastes both ours and the developer's time - the latter is something that we all want to avoid as that just results in a delay for the final release.
When they do release a version with new races, they will have fixed those bugs so that we can find any new ones.
You dare THREATHEN ME?!
Like Dragon Age 2, it isn't nearly as bad as the internets would have you beleive

Hi everyone, I'm new to this game got trinity about a month or so ago (already over 100 hours in would be more but I have to work lmfao) I have been lurking for awhile, reading about different factions, watching some replays, thanks sanchez =] and I have really been enjoying the beta thus far. I just wanted to say something about the recent advent situation, thank you stardock! I was lucky enough to play them last weekend and as they are my favorite faction I have been following the news very closely. When Yarlen said they would be released in about a week and then suddenly they were unlocked I was like hmm what gives, that should have been the first clue as their was no official announcement of a new beta version, at any rate the point of this is I am glad they pulled the update, don't get me wrong I was overjoyed and I thought all the ships were beautiful and I loved every minute of it as the advent are epic, but I honestly appreciate all the hard work you are putting into them, I'm glad you guys are going to make them really shine and make sure they are ready before being released, the unity shall indeed have its revenge!
I've played it myself, and it really is. The only question is if it ruins the rest of the game for you or not. It didn't for me, but there's no defending that ending whatsoever.
Anytime you have to resort to a Deus ex Machnia and "your squad turned cowardly and ran away offscreen in the middle of the final battle" to explain what the hell just happened in the ending, you're doing it wrong.
