plus, what do I do with Steam? Is it the same account as Impulse/Stardock and Political Machine 2012?

I saw you said you purchased this via GameStop Impulse App? I did too, just finished talking to their support and my code which I was emailed from GameStop didn't work however the Product Code which you obtain from "My Games" worked in Steam. Hoped I helped if any!...

Stardock/Impulse are not connected to Steam for Steam is owned by another company.

Now I found the new product code but it still doesn't work. Why couldn't you just make a disc?

It doesn't work. It doesn't have a place called library to click on. the steam you are showing is out of date.

Were you able to add the game?  Can you upload what you see?

your product is making me extremely ill. it wouldn't work. you sent me false instructions even if you didn't mean to. you should have made a disc. but you refused. you disregarded the fact that some politics lovers are not technologically hip. it is impossible for me to download a game i waited a whole year for. it is spoiling my enjoyment of the olympics. my father is ready to smash my computer because of this. my mother is ready to call an ambulance and have me sent to the hospital. moreover, your stupid steam application [when i bought political machine 2008 as a disc, there wasn't such a thing] is destroying my desktop background permanently. the window thanking me for creating the account won't close.

i want you to please fix this mess. it is making me extremely ill. you have to understand that this is intolerable. what is supposed to be a 15-thirty minute download has turned into a four hour affair. you think you are being efficient this way, but you are making life miserable. do tablets make you go through steam?

Steam is completely different than GameStop/Impulse.  Steam can be downloaded here.

After that, you just need the registration code you received in your e-mail or GameStop account.  It's entered via the instructions posted above.

Steam is used for various features, and even if a disk was available, Steam would still be required.

It finally worked. I am sorry for getting upset yesterday but please try to make things regarding downloading/steam simpler for 2016 and 2020. 

It looks much nicer than TPM2008. However, how could you say Michelle Obama's intelligence is only one point above Palin's and is equal to Herman Cain's and Rick Perry's? Did you see how those clowns behaved on the campaign? Likewise, you made Barack Obama, Romney, Gore, Huntsman and Portman too dumb. Obama is said to have a Bartlett like IQ, Romney finished top 10% of his class respectively in Harvard Law and Business School and his competence as governor and as an investor proves it. Huntsman speaks Chinese fluently and Portman went on from a BA in Anthropology at Dartmouth to University of Michigan Law School. You should be more accurate with both parties' IQ.

Why is it I can only play the game with the internet on? I live in a country that not has broadband connection of lacklustre quality, but where there are only two telecommunications providers....my internet usage bill is already too high. It is impossible to believe that constant internet connection is required to play a computer game.
