Sign if you think Lord Xia should be added to the beta released on 01/19/12

Although Lord Xia did not preorder WOM like he should have, and instead waited for its release, he has without question been more active on this site than the other 90% of use that post on here. further more almost all of his posts have been helpful and worth while to read.

 

As such I would like to formally request that  Frog Boy add Lord Xia to the January 19th Beta and if it doesn't well then I guess well have to tell Miss Piggy that :frogboy:  has been cheating on her :rofl:    

all joking aside I do hear that frog legs are considered a delicacy in France  }:)

Seriously though we would all greatly benefit from his feed back on the beta and the sooner the better :-)

I don't see why he shouldn't be allowed to, but I don't see why dev time should be devoted to manually giving him access to something he'll get a week later anyway.

I guess if it's as simple as adding his name to a list, then signed.

Yes of course, giving certain people preferential treatment because they're insiders is the way to go. Who could see anything wrong with that? I'm sure all of the other people who have to wait won't mind.

Yes, that was the major problem with it.  I think it should stay as already organised, 19th for those who pre-ordered, and 26th for everyone else who bought WoM in 2010.

I would like to say, first of all, that as much as I would like to enter early, I don't feel in any way that I am entitled to it. I think the schedule that Stardock has presented is perfectly fair and I think it's nice to award those who where there early with preorders. Thanks guys, it's nice to know people think well of me here.  But, I'm a big boy, and I can wait the week.  I may get jealous and whiny for this week, but I will get through it. O:)

No offense to the OP or Xia, but I don't think it is right to single out anyone in the community for special treatment. How do you draw the line? Someone with as many posts as Xia? 10 less posts? What is fair?

 

Xia didn't buy during Beta. Nothing wrong with that. Also nothing wrong with giving first access to those that did.

 

Fair is sticking to the schedule Stardock has given us. No one is entitled to anything beyond that, as Xia himself pointed out.
