Although Lord Xia did not preorder WOM like he should have, and instead waited for its release, he has without question been more active on this site than the other 90% of use that post on here. further more almost all of his posts have been helpful and worth while to read.

 

As such I would like to formally request that  Frog Boy add Lord Xia to the January 19th Beta and if it doesn't well then I guess well have to tell Miss Piggy that :frogboy:  has been cheating on her :rofl:    

all joking aside I do hear that frog legs are considered a delicacy in France  }:)

Seriously though we would all greatly benefit from his feed back on the beta and the sooner the better :-)

Also, he'll be in the beta just a week later. He'll be able to troll* contribute just fine :D. It's not like phase 2 was going to be in 2 months or something.

Oh wow... so the wait is only a week if you didn't pre-order??  I was thinking that if you didn't pre-order you just had to wait until the full release.  Heck--I really wouldn't mind if they just let *everyone* eligible for the beta just get it on the 19th.  Well, as long as they have the server bandwidth so I can get my copy ASAP!  ;-)

Xia didn't buy during Beta. Nothing wrong with that. Also nothing wrong with giving first access to those that did.

 

Fair is sticking to the schedule Stardock has given us. No one is entitled to anything beyond that, as Xia himself pointed out.

 

No line to be drawn its already there this is for Xia. The rest of you smucks wait till next week.

As much as I love Lord Xia and his many posts (some humorous, some insightful, & some just more than a little contentious), I can't wait to see him squirm for a week as those of us in the first round start posting about stuff he can't comment on.  Not that that will stop him.  Should make for good entertainment.

Surely Lord Xia purchased Elemental in 2010?  Seems like he is been on these forums since I first bought the game.  Has he just been complaining without actually playing the game?

I did, I purchased it in the first week of release, but they are letting the people who preordered it in tomorrow. I will have to wait a week to get into the beta.

Frogboy stated that "The beta release will go in two phases. January 19 will be to everyone who pre-ordered WOM. A week later will be everyone else who got WOM in 2010."

Quite honestly, I don't think ponies are a bad idea. Look at the diverse mount system that Mount & Blade has; that works well. Maybe not the random modifiers like "swaybacked" and all that, but at least with some basic different types of horses. 

'course, since most of the battles we've seen in Frogboy's games have involved no horses at all, it's probable that Stardock has a vastly different idea of the importance of cavalry, compared to myself and Xia.

 

tl;dr: I want ponies too.
