How Long Have You Been Here?

How Long Have You Been Here?

Tell us your date.

Hey guys, I have seen a lot of just plain useless threads in my time. Why not make another?

I thought it might be interesting to see how many old timers are still here.

I stumbled across a record of my becoming a member here at WC.

I seem to be coming up on my 7th anniversary. Contrary to my current info.

Here is the real date.

EDIT: BTW, for those who've been gone a while, I'm PuterDudeJim.

Let's see yours?

On March 9 2001 before the end. There were other Skinning/Art places at the time but in my opinion, Skinz.org was the place to be.
Thanks Brad and Stardock for creating WC!!!

Dang Elvee, you've been here a while...

... reminds me of the young lass who came to work at the broom factory.

After about a week she went to the foreman and asked if she could have a pay rise.   He asked how long had she been there.

"Only a week," she replied: "but I am a good worker and I really need the money to help support my younger brothers and sisters since my dad left."

"Oh," responded the foreman: "you're not likely to get a rise after such a short time... and certainly not until you've grown some hair down there."

"What do you mean," she asked: "hair down there?"

"Well," he responded: "when you've been here a while you grow hair down there... in your underwear."

"Oh" she replied and sadly slipped away back to her position on the assembly line.

Anyhow, about a year later she went to the foreman and asked if she could have a raise.  Again he asked how long she'd been there and whether she had any hair "down there"

"Oh yes," she replied: "I have lots of hair down there now."

"Like this m' dear?" he asked as he dropped his trouser to show her his patch of hair.

"Yes, just like that, Mr Foreman, just like that.  But Mr Foreman, you must have been working here for like... um, forever."

"Why do you say that m' dear?" he asked.

"Because yours has grown a handle as well." :-"

Yeah, I know... but it has been so quiet around here of late... and I got bored.

However, that is just the date I registered. I'm sure I was lurking a lot longer than that. However, I do remember missing the first Olympics.

The above is how long I have been here with Wincustomize. I have been been a customer with Stardock since 1999 when it was called Stardock Systems, Inc. and I purchased what was then called the Object Desktop Network that you downloaded through the Componet Manager which you had to download first.
