Simply put, that. I can't get the AI to use a single diplomatic ship, permanently locking me at "HATED" relationships on their end. Until someone tells me a fix, how do I go back to original.
To prevent this from occurring again with future updates... make a copy of your ENTIRE Sins of a Solar Empire installation directory and rename it to include the version it represents prior to updating through Impulse. This will allow you to play any mods for that version for perpetuity.
I have a copy of Sins for Diplomacy 1.21 for older mods and the currently updated main installation to 1.31 for new mods and online play.

It had been so long since I last updated that I didn't realize what I had done until it was too late....... Lesson HARSHLY learned 'cause now I'm stuck with the vanilla version for who knows how long
I've seen some downloads of previous versions out there on the internet, but damn sure don't trust those sites, so, I guess I'll just hafta suck it up

(EDIT) Thankfully I found an updated Mod of Maelstrom, so that will get me by for now, and HOPEfully, Aplos will change his mind and do a version 2.5 Stars update (Love that Mod!!!)
Also, BIG, HUGE, GINORMOUS props and thanx to all you Modders out there who bust your ass making these Mods for us all!!!
