https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/store.aspx

Eager RTS gamers can now pre-order the upcoming Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion!  All pre-order customers will gain access to the Rebellion beta scheduled for later this year (your credit card will be charged at that time).

New Sins of a Solar Empire customers can pre-order Rebellion for $39.95.  Existing registered Sins players who have registered Diplomacy or Trinity can upgrade to Rebellion for $29.95.

To pre-order, just head to the Store:  https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/store.aspx

(Please note that if you choose a bundle upgrade option - i.e., Rebellion with the Expansion Bundle - you will be charged immediately.)

As an FYI, most banks will be a temporary hold on the amount of a pre-order.  Depending on your bank, this clears within a few days.

Got it.

Lovely.

Do the system requirements remain the same as previous versions? If yes, I'd pre-order in a heartbeat.  :D

When I click the upgrade button, it brings me to buying rebellion+diplomacy for $40, instead of rebellion only for $30... or something. :S

Existing registered Sins players can upgrade to Rebellion for $29.95 > Where is that button?

I love that there's already 2 posts asking how to get the discount, when it tells you where to go on the page.

Anyways, pre-ordered and saved an extra 81 cents on the exchange rate, take that American dollar! :P

ya... that link says buy for $40.

pre-order went up kinda fast no? Isn't there usually a period of screenshots and videos and interviews and such beforehand?

well whatever, im not complaining.

Do you not own Diplomacy? It may be that the upgrade is only for owners of Sins + Entrenchment + Diplomacy, not just owners of Sins in general (I'd assume as much anyway).

FYI, the SURVEY2010 coupon code is still active (or it was for me a minute ago anyway), so you can use that to get 10% off your order (cost me $26.95 with the upgrade discount!).

Indeed Pbhea that seems to be your problem. Exsentialy looking at teh price your need to get diplomacy to get teh discount on Rebelion. The price you ahve there is the one that was listed for rebelion alone so one could say your gettign diplo for free.

hmm 30 bucks is a steap hike from the 10 dollar expansions before it :annoyed:

Keey word here. Stand alone and this update is gonan alot bigger then the expansions we have. If they have 2 factions per race with each faction havign their own varian of the vanila stuff then they need to make 2 new sins games onto the existign one.

I can't believe it guys. You really want to tease me again!

You still need a credit card to PreOrder.
How often we non-credit cards owner have asked you to let us pre-order (buy) with PayPal or (enter other money transfer service here).

Do I really have to pass on that beta stage of yours again, because I can't pre-order?

Oh boy, come on - don't get me wrong, I know the stuff about the financial thingy, that the money is on hold yaddah yaddah not charged really until the game is released.

Please re-evaluate the payment possibilities again this time.
I beg you - personally I think you will miss a lot of pre-order numbers if you stick on that credit card payment rule.

Please let me support you with my pre order placement.
I don't really care about early beta access, it is tempting, but I really want to support you guys.

This isn't a new discussion topic, it has been here before diplomacy, and even before entrenchment...
And I don't want to ask my boss again to lend me our company credit card in order to buy that game.

Thank you - looking forward to pre-order with pay pal anytime soon.

with kind regards
