Come on, lets here some new Elemental News! WoM 1.2 and 1.3 info and/or Fallen Enchantress stuff.

Stop being stingy.  Toby, Kael, Jon, Brad, anyone, please step up to the plate and do some talking.  I will also accept info about the Elemental RPG and the secret Jon game.  Thank you! How can you say no to this face? :pout:

It's a good thing that Fallen Enchantress is concept wise made from scratch. I think Elemental: War of Magic has too many construction sites to ever reach the status of polished and fun.

Though I still hope you guys aim to create a full blown 4X game.

I could be wrong, and I hope I am, but the way I read the press release and the following info, I get the impression that FE will be more geared to RPG than a 4X TBS.

We do hear more about the RPG aspects of Fallen Enchantress, but that doesn't mean it won't be a full-blown 4X TBS - they may be focusing on the RPG aspects simply because the 4X TBS side is already more fleshed out and just doesn't need as much work. I mean, it's not like FE is going to take out the city-building or research or anything of the other 4X elements, which E:WoM already does fairly well - it just sounds like they're going to focus more on the RPGish elements like questing and tactical combat, which are E:WoM's weak points.

I've heard you'll no longer be able to directly construct buildings or command units (other than your own sovereign) but now you'll be free to choose from over 10 different noses while creating your custom sovereign.

Fair enough, but if they're improving sovereign customization, I hope we get the ability to dye armor. For that I'd be willing to give up the economy and research and.. what the hell, I'd throw in diplomacy too.

I hope that Austinvn is right.

As far as those noses go, I just hope they can get the eyes above the cheeks before they start on noses.

God knows where the eyes will wind up then!

I heard that Derek's next contest will be a "Design a Nose" contest.  The winner gets a new video card and their nose in the game.

I really like how improved the game is with the latest update (beta update?). I have not crashed in about 4-5 hours of playing Elemental with the last update that downloaded (:

Game can only get better to!

I like the faces that let you mold them by stretching and compressing different areas. Mind you, I might spend 15 minutes making a face at the start of a game then never think about it again. I hope they don't spend too much resources on new noses.

Everyone needs a boob extender!

Yay for boobs. Big boobs are the way if you want to succeed as a games company these days.

I played the dragon age 2 demo yesterday and oh my this character Isabella has boobs the size of... well big boobs (the game seems to stink though, in comparison with dragon age origins... it's all flashy and console friendly).

The Witcher 2 also seems heavy on the boob department, so bring it on stardock!

Good lord, what is going on in this thread?!  :O

Regarding 'More FE Info', you'll find the flow of big information to be through more 'big-name' channels (the gaming mags and websites) than in a random journal here. Ironically, however, we just wrapped up some marketing stuff this week, so that should be finding its way out shortly :)

Only your typical stuff on Stardock Elemental Channel. ;-) (Note this message does not condone in any way certain posts by certain Stardock users.)

Best regards,
Steven.

Sometimes I read your name as SteveAnus, and then I giggle.  So I like you.

Looking forward to FE.  But I'm backlogged on games and Dragon Age is coming shortly, I haven't even started Fable 3 yet, I have a ton of impulse deal buys that I need to play.  Being a gamer is serious business, wish I could just play games at work.

You're the one with the dirty mind. :-" That's "Steven" for "Steven" and "Aus" for "Australia" (no, not Austria).

Best regards,
Steven.
