Mods you would not like to play..

So what kinds of mods are you guys expecting people to make that you would NOT like to play.

For me it's the inevitable Civilization clone...

90% of them will be crap. So, that 90%.

A Civilization clone sounds interesting to me :)

I won't play any mods that make the tactical combat (or the entire game) real-time.

My format your hard drive mod is not likely to go over well.

Now I can't play any of your mods, in fear of what they might do to my machine.  8C

I didn't know that it's possible to do such things by modding... 8C

I would have to say that I am not looking forward to the "inevitable sound of music" mod for that matter...

It would be hard to say what mods i may or may not want to play..

I could say I would not play a civil war mod as I prefer fantasy / futuristic type strategy games.. but with out taking a hard look at just what was in fact in the mod its not really a sure deal breaker for me... good work is good work.

perhaps, for me at least the safest thing to say is i will not likely try any mod that seems poorly done / thought out...

I'm still really looking forward to the "Melt Your Graphics Card" mod you mentioned would be available back during Beta 1 :P ;)

I'd play the shit out of this mod. I can see my character right now. A vietnam veteran armed with a heavy lead pipe. He was tormented by vietcong wearing suits that sparkle in the sunlight. He has vowed vengeance.

Oh, I'd probably pass on a My Little Pony vs GI Joe mod.
Or anything featuring the Care Bears or Cabbage Patch Kids.
Can't think of much else beyond that.

So WhiteElk will definitely sign up for my upcoming erotic smurf mod.

Good to know I'll have at least one fan.

I think you mean Smurf Smut Mod.

LoL, I think I'd pass on Smurf Smut.   Although a Smurf mod might actually be fun from time to time.  The saturday afternoon version of happy blue Smurfs versus Smurfs gone wild.  Red light districs and spring break parties for the hedonists; while parks and potlucks for the ascetics.

My Little Pony: Ride of Magic

Barbie the Magic Princess

Pok'e'mon: Magic Battles Gold

Yu-Gi-Oh: Magical Destiny

Anything that can generally be classified as cute, cuddly, or kiddie...all need to burn in the fires of hell.

Except for Dragonball Z and a few other selected Anime choices...those kick ass. ;)

So your not up for the Strange Dawn mod I was thinking of making? How about BeyBlade instead?

(Actually wouldn't a One Piece mod ROCK)

I have no idea what Strange Dawn is. The one episode I saw of BeyBlade I remember thinking "I would have thought this was badd ass when I was 14". One Piece...not really a fan of the animation style. If they would have went with a more realistic looking character style I probably would like it more.

Sorry, but I'd love an anime mod. I like anime almost as much as I like PC games. And fantasy anime is even better. Add something "cute" to an anime mod and I'll play it already. Kawaii!

Any takers for an Γ†on Flux mod?  I think it would be bad ass!

"That which does not kill us, makes us strAnger." ~ Chairman Goodchild

"Ready for the action now, danger boy?" ~ Aeon Flux

A Heavy Metal mod would rock as well! (link warning: anime nudity)

Hmm, maybe you'd like a mod that pits kiddy toons versus adult anime.
The cute and cuddlies vs the dark and destructive.

Hey, don't be hating on Pokemon>:( Just because it's targeted at little kids doesn't mean it can't be awesome:P

I will reserve judgement on all mods until I've actually seen them. I'm tempted to just write off any My Little Ponies mods, but if someone puts enough effort into it and makes a decent mod out of it, I might try it.
