Just remember, If you ask her and she immediately says no, it's not the end of the world. As close as the two of you are, e-mailing every night. And more importantly, WHAT you e-mail about, you do have a chance. She may feel the same way, or at least have a minor crush on you. Don't let yourself regret not asking a few years from now. I guarantee to you, that as long as you haven't lied to me about any of the major details, she will NEVER find another person who would be better for her than you. I'd stake my life on it, in a heartbeat.

First: WHY IS MAH LIFE THE LIFEBLOOD OF THE FORUMS?!?!
Second: Kinda hard for me to tell her how I feel, or ask her out for that matter, when me and her BF were face-to-face today... sorta. We only saw one another in the morning, we was hugging her from behind the entire time, glancing at me in a way that said "um... who is this guy? Why is he here?!?"

Oh, yea. Third: My replies are the tiny font, hers are the large, in order from oldest on bottom to newest on top.
Fourth: She was considerably cheerier today, but when I commented on it, she said "That's what masks are for" 
However, she did show signs of actual happiness later, when I both talked to her for a while, and just plain teased her to get her mind off of all her BF problems. (This actually is my sig. tactic to cheer her up, I tease her, since she's a proud, fiery individual, she teases back, and in the process, cheers up)

Hmm... thx for the advice, but to be honest, the whole "waiting" thing I could've figured out on my own... however, I'm still going to have to wait to tell her, even when/if her Boyfriend is gone. Mainly because I want to be with her as long as possible, and I know she's the type who justs dates for fun, while she can.

(Maybe you'll get lucky and he'll get all possessive. "Stay away fromher or else." So long as youdon't instigate it, those are your favorite words to hear from him. I say this based on what you've told us, however, not taking intoaccount the bias that you would naturally use when speaking of a rival.

well i got a real mean and nasty letter in my locker today and i had to throw more idiots down hills
Well, skipping everything that's happened over the past few months, she's done quite well with her BF (though nobody [save for me] can tollerate their public affections). In about two weeks a good chunk of our highschool band is going paintballing (trumpets v.s. low brass). Fortunately for me, she and I are on the same team, and her BF on the other, the latter wagering $20 that he can hit her in both boobs. Needless to say, I can't wait to blow away the panzie.

@Skidi don't listen to what anybody says about you if people gossip its becuase they're insecure and they're parents probably neglect them its their way of putting off steam...remember just try and be the better person and ignore those bastards if they do something like egg your house again call the cops and see how they like that
