Like when it is already moving at high speed, the nozzles turn to point front, thus they reduce the aircraft's speed so fast, that its like you are hitting on the brakes really hard on a high speed moving car. It can decelerate so fast, that the enemy who's "next" to you, will skim forwards, and you can be right behind him in no time.

Pretty neat trick huh?

That reason is actually the maneuver I was thinking of, allowing the Harrier to perform quite well in air-superiority. Still will probably lose to a dedicated air-superiority fighter though :'(.

I was specifically going out of my way to prevent movie and pix spam, ppl have more interest in words spoken only once by one mouth than vids and pix posted dozens of times by dozens of people.

BUT SPAM IS FUN!

On a side note I am compiling a wishlist of Warhammer 40,000 models that I would like to obtain. For a couple reasons, these being-

1. Helps me map out the economic costs. This is probably the most important one.
2. Helps me to keep track of all the ones I'm most likely to use.
3. Helps me to "pre-compile" a good army.
4. Because I think Warhammer 40,000 is probably the most awesome wargame ever. And the models look awesome.
