People of Elemental: the Empires

The Empires of the East are dominated by races of beings collectively known as “The Fallen”. These are beings that bred by the Titans of old to be better than the mortal men and dragons and other “natural” creatures of the world.

There are lots of Fallen creatures in the world. The Empires are led by beings that are both sentient and social (dragons, are sentient but are solitary).

The Empires believe in the justice of raw strength and strive to increase their power.

Sounds like a hodge podge of Tolkien and Dragonlance. Stardock doesn't have any creative writers?

You can tell that much just from names?  Wow, you're good. ;P

Nice stuff, I really like the Magnar's Blade Staff.

Do the fallen more or less like each other or is each faction (fallen and human) at war with every other faction

Krax to Desktop.

THe Urxen pic seems poor compared to the others. But so far, so good.

I'd presume it's a set of relation modifiers governed first by fallen/human status and then cultural traits.

Yes because all good fantasy games and stories are completely original or don't borrow ideas from others.  Oh wait...

It's possible to be original. Problem? People doesn't want that (and it's not easy anyway). "I want my elves", "Boring!", etc.

I'll stick to originality presenting something already know as something good.

Okay, the first one seems to have accidently set umm her? Hand alight with 'its' own staff. Don't want.

The foruth is the star wars kid come back to take his revenge. If he dosn't kill him self first with all those spikes. Ouch.

They are all cool, good stuff SD.

I'm not saying you can't borrow, but at least try to improve or make it unique in some way. I mean all the talk about dragons ruling people and the cataclysm.

If you're going to be that blatant, why not just call the second pic "Raistlin" and be done with it.

Where do you get the idea that Dragons rule people?

Magnar, especially, looks great.  It's like the Dark Elves (my favorite race from MOM!) turned up to 11.

I like - races mostly human, but with a twist.  Think I'm one of the few that liked the original human-dominated sound of the lore (Fallen = Humans, quite capable of being dreadfully evil w'out any Orcs around), but am liking the look of these rather-more-mutated bunch.

Most of all, already interested in playing several of them.

Well imagined!

I'd be interested to know, can Fallen only arrange marriages/mate with Fallen?  If so, I foresee a lot of very fugly Kraxians.  Also, is there any more info to be had on Resoln?  As wraiths, are they 'undead', or something else entirely?

Hm....I don't know....all of the races of Kingdoms & Empires are humanoid in appearance. Weird stuff...o_O

No. I'm 99.99999983% sure that you can marry between sides (although just once I'd like to see a fantasy world without the institution of matrimony........)

I've figured out why Magnar reminds me of the Space Pirates: they have identical feet. I'm serious. Look at the Pirates' feet in Super Metroid or Zero Mission, and they're exactly like the Magnari's!

And regarding the genders, I think they go (from top to bottom):

  1. Female
  2. Male
  3. Female
  4. Female (unsure)
  5. Male

Suits me fine!  But then again, back when I played PnP RPGs, they were always human-centric. :)

Magnar looks male to me.  I don't detect any sign of demonic elven chesticles on him/her/it.

I dunno...... if it's a man it's a rather skinny one..... and the chest is a bit off as well.... blowing up the image reveals what appears to be long white hair behind the helmet....
