Okay folks,  I thought it would be nice to continue with a St. Particks's Day Theme.  My idea, subject to further input from the community would use those items that we generally associate with the Holiday.  I'm thinking: Green, 4 leaf clovers, rainbow, pot of gold, Leprechauns, Irish, The Blarney Stone, Magicial.  Did I miss anything?

It would be nice to have skins for the following:   (updated to show skin volunteers)

•WindowBlinds (XP, Vista and Win 7) - Vampothika

•BootSkins -

•CursorFX - k10w3

•DesktopX Theme - RedneckDude

•DesktopX Widgets (weather, clock, etc) - Weather RedneckDude,  Clock The AV Man

•Dream - Ausvet, amitsaran

•Icons -

•Logons - Frankief

•Object Dock - Backgound G3mpi3,  Icons k10W3

•Rainlendar -k10w3

•RightClick - Vampothika

•ScreenSaver - amitsaran, Ausvet

•SysMetrix - Lantec

•Trillian Astra - G3mpi3

•Wallpaper - Frankief, k10w3

•Winstep -

•Xion Skin - k10w3

Other than the WindowBlind I see no problem with having multiple skins in the Theme.  This would allow the user to set up their desktiop with different looks.  For instance DeskScapes now has a function for changing the background,  folks would be able to have their DeskScapes rotate through backgrounds.

If you would like to do a skin that is not listed please leave a comment on the thread.

At the end the themed skins would be wrapped up in a Theme Manager Suite, I have to do something.

We need ideas for a unique name plus design ideas for the WindowBlind.  If someone is all ready working on something, all the more better.

That being the case, you can leave out
Rainbows End
Kiss The Blarney Stone
for they have about as much to do with the St. Patricks Day Holiday as the one I suggested.

Don't take it personally, just the opinion of someone who IS Irish, and will be back living there within a month.

M-203, Kiss The Blarney Stone was more of a 'you must be kidding' suggestion, Rainbows End in more in line with finding the Leprechaun's pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I do understand that there are two distinct Holidays, the commercial celebration and the more traditional Irish St. Patrick's Day.  Going for the  more cheesy version.

Yeah...we wouldn't let poor Philly go cheesy on the Valentine's day suite, so he's Jones'n for his cheese.  ;)

I like Leprachaun Magic, since Vampothika said she was going to go magical on the WB.  (My personal choice for a theme name would be "Just shut up and drink the green beer" but that's sort of a plagerism of Po'Smedley's Valentine's day icon set, "Shut up and kiss me")  O:)

I second k10w3's suggestion, Leprechaun Magic (it's spelt with an e not an a k10w3,  ;) ) sounds cheesy enough.

k, update. I just finished the my dirty valentine cursor...(yes i know im very slow, but ive had a bit of a bad week) starting icons tomorrow.....and when they are done, ill be working on this wb.

IM going for magical and not green either.......... i have an idea, but ill just keep you all in suspence till im ready to post something..........

amitsaran, you need to slap me silly, I failed to include a piece of important information in the original post.  Normally there is a date establised for uploading skins for a community project to the gallery.  They should all be uploaded within a few days of each other but normally to show up in the library by a not later than date.

Most of the folks haven't even started on their respective skins yet. 

Please hold off uploading to the library of any more skins untill a date is established.

How does Mar 7 sound to everyone?
