I actually look at all skins the same. you plagerize something and i happen to see ima say something...and no i didnt make it "PUBLIC" i took it to a MOD who said "The image may look like a drawing/graphic art...but it's actually a photo of a real car...prototype 'rod' Holden FJ and is in the public domain." like i'm some kind of idiot and i cant tell that a graphic was or wasnt theirs. • The image in question is nearly identical to the one posted.  I have no doubt in my mind that she can draw it herself pixel-by-pixel, but a good rule of thumb is to keep your .PSD's.  Especially now with the lurking going on.
   
• I pulled the skin to investigate, it was not to appease or punish anyone.
   
• Djirate was not the one who initially reported it.  
   
• Note to others - Competition is not a bad thing.

well if you must know Lantec(Mike) i didnt purchase the skin but in the screenshot the graphic in question was in the copy file animation and clearly visible. im glad to hear that i wasnt the only one who pointed it out...thank you island dog for taking atleast a small percent of the BLAME off of me...as i said before i have nothing against kitty at all and i think her designs that SHE COMES UP WITH are totally awesome...theres no other person on the site with a style like hers, but if i see something im gonna say something...and i did..to a MOD...i remembered not to make it a public spaectacle but it seems thats the way it turned out again because she had to get the pitty party going for her once again...sorry just my opinion...LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!

and i'd also like to add that i'm sorry im a nit picker but thats me...thats why i test for "THE BEST" and thats why i havent released a skin of my own yet, cause i tend to be too picky even of my own work

I've been hanging around here for a long time now (see member number) so I've seen this issue before. Determining the originality of artwork is difficult sometimes but important. However public flogging IS NOT the answer. If you think there is a problem with the artwork, that's what mods and sysops etc. are there for. Notify them, they'll check it out and render a verdict. This can be done without all these hard feelings. In a creative atmosphere, this kind of bickering IS NOT helpful. All you artists/skinners are talented people who work together to make our computing experience more enjoyable. Lets not do or say anything to change that.
