I deleted the Pipleline folder, and that seems to have fixed it, but more testing is required to be sure.
I'm getting an error when I try to install this mod...

Odd, my mod folder reads "Mods-v1.17" and yet neither diplomacy or entrenchment points to that folder. My diplomacy mods seem to work, but I haven't found a folder name that gets entrenchment to even see any mods.

Stress, I downloaded it last night, just extracted and got the pesky Whitewind error. It looks like pretty much the same problem we used to have with the Curry.dds file, it just fails the CRC and doesn't extract. Any errors Sins throws up is probably because the texture's simply missing.
This is the path that I am using in XP pro sp3

I'm getting nothing but blank space in my available mods section. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Scratch that- the game dumps when you try to build the Dominion Starbase. I'd suggest no Dominion AI's, and no building Starbases if you feel like playing Dominion, at least until the Mod Team has time to fix it.
wow, what a way to start the week. I will try to track down the error for the dominion starbase and upload the fixed version to sync.

I keep getting a dump crash with the new update. I have installed the little Whitewind fix too. It happens everytime I start to create a second Federation Frigate Shipyard on another planet. I tried re-loading to a point before the crash, and then NOT building one. Crash does not occur. I don't know if this known or not, just thought I would pass this on. I have the dmp files, but they are too big to post here...
I think it is the dominion's starbase it is what is casuing the problem. I ran the dev and tried using the starbaseconstructor, when I ordered it to build starbase, it crashed in both dev and normal mode
The issue has been located and corrected it was a small typo in regards to a phaser weapon on a dominion strikecraft and a missing starbase upgrade in the entity manifest. How the smallest of errors can cause the biggest headaches. A corrected version will be uploaded to A drive soon thanks jtaylorpcs
I just wanna make sure I understand something right.... Do we have to download the whole thing again to get the latest version, or is there a smaller file of just the changes that we can download? Thanks. And btw this is an unbelievably sick mod. You have no idea how long I've been looking for a decent star trek game and this beats them all, even if I'm not in the "targeted age group."
This will be a complete donwload sorry everyone, but the pure nature of our work and the vast amount of files that were edited makes a small patch not fesible at this time. I am in the process of uploading the mod now. please standby!!!

It is always the small errors that cause the biggest headaches. This is true with whatever game you're modding.
seriously I am not surprised that a small patch can cause a massive re-upload and re-install. Even in DS, a simple match will send me right back to 0.5 beta and then patch up to current version

Typos happen mistakes happen no one is perfect. Upload is about 17% done .
