The French tanks back then had thicker armor, better engines and guns and the French had even produced more then the Germans. They just used the tanks like individual knights supporting infantry while the Germans used them like a mailed fist to punch through the enemy lines. History shows the right method.

Read about what Rommel did during the Battle of France. He went so far ahead that if the French were doing what they were suppose to do they could have stop the German attack. Two mistakes but only one was fatal.
